About

The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential and longest-lasting bands to cross over during the ’60s British Invasion. The group stands as one of the best-selling acts of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide, and is responsible for two of the highest-grossing tours of all time within the last two decades. Blending blues and rock, the first main lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts broke out in 1965 with their first chart-topping album Out of Our Heads and back-to-back Hot 100 No. 1 singles “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” and “Get Off of My Cloud.” The group topped the Hot 100 again with 1966’s “Paint It, Black,” 1967’s “Ruby Tuesday” and 1969’s “Honky Tonk Women.” With the addition of guitarist Mick Taylor, The Rolling Stones released their second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 1971’s Sticky Fingers, kicking off a streak of eight consecutive chart-topping debuts through 1981’s Tattoo You. Ronnie Wood made his debut as Taylor’s full-time replacement with 1978’s Some Girls, which hosted the group’s Hot 100 No. 1 “Miss You.” The Rolling Stones were the recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. They collected their first of three career Grammy Awards in 1995. The group broke the record for highest-grossing tour in 1990 and reclaimed the top spot in 1995 and 2007, becoming the only band to headline the highest-grossing tour of the decade twice. The No Filter World Tour from 2017 to 2021 closed as the fifth highest-earning tour ever. Most recently, the band released their first album of original material in 18 years, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds.

    Stones on fire

    by Jmb917 on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Rolling Stones on Sunday at Gillette was off the charts. One the greatest bands ever! Mick was awesome. They played 18 great songs. I wish the concert had gone on for a few more hours. When it’s that good, you never want it to end.

    Stones roll on.

by Stoned on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The Rolling Stones came out and gave it their all for two hours and ten minutes, it was an amazing show, my fifth time at the stones over the last thirty years. But unfortunately our seats were high up in the Gillette stadium and the sound was just awful, I and all of those around me could not make out a word Mick was saying ( or Keith but that just could of been Keith) some left early due to the bad sound. I understand that’s it’s an outside venue and the sound can get carried away every now and then but this was crazy bad. When Gillette stadium sell tickets for the upper seats at incredibly high prices I think they should ensure that all seats should be able to enjoy a good sound.

by Fufi on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The bad boys of rock’n roll never disappoint! I missed 2013 because I had an academic deadline I could not miss. I am so glad I got to experience this concert. I am going two more times! This last concert, I brought an Italian friend. Great seeing the experience through her eyes.

The Stones were on top of their game and gave the greatest show ever. Mick was in great form notwithstanding his surgery - and the boys were groovin' - special kudos to Ronnie Wood - did he ever shine!! Love those guys and can't wait for the next one!!!

Mick and the Stones did not disappoint!!

by TandA on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Seeing the Rolling Stones has been on my bucket list for years. What a thrill to see them live at such an awesome venue! So great to see Mick looking as healthy as ever and with the energy of a man a third of his age - seriously! The fireworks at the end made for a perfect finale. Opening act Gary Clark, Jr. was a treat I was not expecting and it was fun to see him perform a song with the Stones. This concert was worth every penny :-)

    Awesome except

by Karen on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The Stones were absolutely amazing. Jager has still got the moves The only complaint was I spent a lot of money on Field seating tickets and the seats were absolutely awful they were hard they were zip tied together and I had two very large men sitting next to me so I had to pretty much stand up the whole time.

    Foxboro July 7 , 2019 show

    by J. D. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

These guys continue to demonstrate why they are the Worlds Greatest Rock 'n Roll Band. High energy , great sound , cool back drop. Played a solid 2.5 show. 18 songs and 2 song encore. Too bad they couldn't scratch the surface of their catalog. If I had any complaint it would be that they hit heavy on the hits and not enough on the deeper tracks.

by Rich on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Awesome show, had relatively low expectations, given Mick's health situation, but what an EXCELLENT SHOW!
