Great venue with great crowd. We will definitely go again next year. Come prepared with Rocky "kit" and enjoy the experience.

The representation for the contest were much better and very entertaining. We have been disappointed in the past by the audience being so loud and yelling obscene remarks that we could not even hear the movie. This year everyone seem to participate, using items for this, in a better way. Made the experience much more fun! They still did not remember to yell "Oh no meatloaf again" when dinner was being served! Will attend next year.

I haven't been to a Rocky Horror show in some time but this one was by far the best!!! I did a quick search to remember what props to bring which helps you get into it, but just going empty-handed would be enough because SO MANY people brought stuff!!! So rice and toast and toilet paper were landing everywhere and you could still throw it even if you never had anything on hand. Also, some people brought extra stuff like party hats and shared with people around them. Just that sense of comradery was what made this show. I brought my boyfriend who had never been to a show and was so happy that the experience was enjoyable to him (I was nervous about the eclecticism after all). But he kept praising the fun crowd atmosphere! The actors were great too. I love that they KNEW KNEW all the lines. Although I wish Rocky were a little more Rocky-like, he was still fun to watch. So don't be afraid to go, even if your a Rocky virgin! Your seat mates will never know the difference and you'll be well informed just mimicking those around you. I'll definitely be back in future years!!!

Seriously!!! Had I know it was gonna be a 2 hour costumes contest and no masquerade ball at all, I would have gone elsewhere with my time!!! I am so disappointed. The portrayal of the characters were completely off. What a waste of money!!!

This event was incredible. My husband and I are big fans of the musical, but have never experienced it in a theatre setting. Truly unforgettable & will become an annual event for us!!

Long time fan of Rocky Horror and have been attended in Birmingham for the past 3 years. However, this year I found it to somewhat disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I love the MC's, Will and Reed, they are witty and a lot of fun, but I think the whole costume contest is rigged. This year, Will and Reed offered too many comments and turns out those are the people who won the contests. A person dressed like a storm, really.... Wonder if she is a relative much like those contestants on a radio "pod cast" game show they host. Anywho...... I do hope the Masquerade Ball is much better next year. I would love to see more Rocky Horror costumes. Also, would like the judges to take into consideration the audience's applause for best costume.

This show was a waste of money. We got there early as it was general admission and got our seats. We waited 3 hours for the show because of an hour long costume contest. Once the show started you couldn't hear anything from the movie because of yelling in the crowd. During the audience participation, people dumped whole bags of seasoned yellow rice instead of regular white rice. It ruined my dress and shoes along with my time. Drunk audience who were very inconsiderate. Horrible show. I will not be back!

The venue was great, and it was fun at first to see the fans dressed up, but the costume contest went on for FAR too long, and I didn't understand why there was even a contest for the ones not dressed in the theme of the movie. That part was just over done.

This wasas always a fun event, everyone seemed in the spirit, the costumes were very creative. The live play was perfect. ......................................................................................................................

I love this show - audience participation at it's finest :) the people and the actors on stage and the film plus all the prop throwing... you can't find a better time as a grown up

This was the 40th Anniversary of the movie and it was the best yet. What a blast we all had. Defiantly need to have Will & Reed Lochamy hosting again. They were very entertaining. Fun, fun, fun....love it more and more each year I go

A historic setting and a fun movie/drama team! Going to Rocky horror has been a tradition for the past few years and each year is new and exciting! This year I was able to sit fairly close to the stage ( arrive early) and I enjoyed the costume contest and the movie from a better view!

I loved this event last year..... it was amazing. I brought 2 people who were virgins to the show, and who had NEVER seen the movie. Unfortunately we couldn't hear the dialogue of the movie because the people behind us SCREAMED at everything. I know the typical crowd participation is expected but sadly it was a bad year. Plus people threw stuff on stage like idiots. I felt bad for my friends who spent the money to come see this event. They still don't know what the movie is about. I was so disappointed. NEXT YEAR THEY NEED TO TURN THE MOVIE UP!!!

This event is the most fun I have had in a long time. The festivities were hilarious. And everyone in attendance were so nice and friendly! I would recommend this to everyone!

Crowd was amazing and all ready for this giant indoor party

I've been going to Rocky Horror at the Alabama theatre for the past 3 years and regret not going sooner! This interactive threatre has actors and actresses acting the movie out while it plays on the big screen. Simultaneously, attendees are allowed to throw rice, roast, toilet paper, and use small squirt guns at the appropriate times during this experience, which makes the entire event incredibly fun! The costumes are amazing! Everyone is friendly, the temperature is wonderful, the threatre is BEAUTIFUL, and it is my personal favorite event of the year in Birmingham. I highly recommend this to everyone.

We always enjoy both of the costume contests. The crowd this year was more into being heard than responding to the movie. Sort of obnoxious! We were with some "virgin" people and it was quite an effort to hear the actors in the movie to understand why the responses given were given to certain lines. This sort of took the fun away! This crowd is not aware of "Not meatloaf again" which was a great response in years gone by. As always the music was fantastic. The actors on the stage were also very good; however, a little more risqué than before.

Everyone should watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show live at least once! The show was great, the costume contest was fun and I'm probably going back next year!

I had an absolute blast! Loved the costumes the cast and audience participation! I can't wait for next year to do it all over again!
