The Rockettes Experience Tickets

my daughter is 13 and we went on June 29,2013..She had such an amazing time. the tour was very interesting and the the dance routines taught by Annie were amazing in such a short time to learn them.She was the most amazing teacher and sooo patient with the girls.they learned a tap and jazz routines to the Christmas songs of the show and them learned the kickline. then they were broken into groups of 4 and did a mock audition in front of annis and the 2 other Rockette helpers and got graded...they took home the sheet with comments on them. My daughter is and Elite dancer with her studio and she totally enjoyed this experience and realized it is extremely hard work. they did not get breaks soooo you definetely got your money's worth.....

My daughter has looked forward to this experience since she turned 5 and began dance classes. After several years of watching the Rockettes on tv & at Radio City, we were finally able to see the secrets that make these girls so magical. I would highly recommend this program to anyone with a love for dance. The history you learn and the instruction given to young dancers makes the price of admission well worth it.

I bought tickets for the Rockette Experience for my great niece. She has been taking dance lessons for the past 10 years and is quite good. The day at Radio City Music Hall was wonderful. The backstage tour was super. All of the information on the tour was presented in a very interesting fashion. The dance workshop was something my great niece will remember her entire life. She worked hard and enjoyed every moment there.

The dance class was a great experience for my daughter! I would do it again. The tour however was a little disappointing. We toured 4 bathrooms and looked at the instruments on the carpet. Didn't get to go any where near the stage. When I asked if we could see the dressing rooms the rockettes use the tour guide laughed and said why would you want to see lockers and mirrors?? I'm sorry but that is what a backstage tour is all about not seeing bathrooms and a carpet all things we see when we see the Christmas show.

I cannot say enough about this program. My 12 year daughter and about 25 other young ladies, aged 10 to 14 were taught three routines during this workshop -- jazz, tap and the famous kick line choreography. The instructor was wonderful, truly a Rockette for the girls to look up to and emulate. The program was well organized, fun and highly instructional. For a young dancer wishing to be a future Rockette I cannot recommend this program highly enough!

This was a great experience for my ten year old who loves to dance. The staff associated with this program was excellent. They were all professional yet friendly, going out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. The Rockette who taught the class was outstanding. She worked the girls through a warmup, jazz, and tap, giving helpful hints and insight into what it takes to be a Rockette along the way. She was at all times energetic and encouraging, helping to build confidence in the girls as she taught. My daughter got a lot out of this experience, and we both gained a greater respect for how hard the Rockettes work while making it look easy and fun.

My 12 year old daughter and I had a great time at the Rockettes Experience. The Rockete was very patient and a great teacher. My daughter really enjoyed learning the Rockette's combinations.

I have to say i was a little skeptical at first about the event. My 10 year daughter was concerned that they would be teaching skills she didn't know as a dancer. Boy was I wrong. The dance instructor (a 15 year Veteran Rockette) was awesome. They showed the girls 4 different mini routines from the Christmas Spectacular and while they dances were fast pace, they were at a skill level everyone could get. They even had time after doing the 4 numbers and doing the mock audition that they got to learn the Toy Soldier march in a circle. The Q & A period was very open and honest. The tour was a little on the short side. But the money spent for the dance experience alone was WELL worth the money! I highly recommend it to anyone who is or has a dancer.

This was a very comprehensive program filled with dancing. Our instructor Laura was so professional and gave us plenty of insights on how the real Rockettes rehearse. I was worried that the program would have lots of "fluff" but quite the opposite!! What a thrill to learn some of the basics of those well known numbers I had seen over the years at the Christmas show!! I highly recommend it.

I found out the "Experience" existed through a dance mom mesage board. The mom's who had gone said it was GREAT! So, as a birthday gift for my 14 year old I googled it and found the information. I am so very glad I did!! We attended with two other girls and their moms. All I can say is WOW!!! What a great opportunity you have provided allowing us to take a peak into the Rockettes world!! Our Rockette Kirstin (?) was a true professional in every way! ALWAYS a smile and complimenting to all the girls, no matter what their skill level is. Her assistant was equally professional. And we can't forget Earl!!! What an asset to the organization!! The classes were easy to follow along to because of the tremendous teaching skills of our Rockette!! Again, such a professional!! The tour was very educational....so much history!! Our guide was a pure delight!! We didn't want it to end!!

The dance class was very exciting. Very fast paced and gave a great insight to the Rockette world. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself. I could tell by her exhaustion after the class. This class is VERY physical, with no breaks. Be prepared to work hard. You must have dance expirience and I would say girls should be at least age10 with at least 4yrs or more of dance expirience. My only "disappointment" was, I thought the girls were going to be given an actual backstage tour. And possibly a two minute stance on the actual stage. I did not realize the tour meant of the rest of the building. The girls wanted to stand on stage.

This was fun, and I would do it again if I had the chance. The tour was very informational and inspiring.

Wonderful experience. Teachers, Assistance and piano player were so great. Perfect for the intermediate dancer.

we had a great time, the rockette experience was a birthday gift for my granddaughter. Just the expressions on her face could melt your heart. She is still talking about it and wants to do it again next year, She actually said that she wants to become a rockette someday. infact we all had a great time. f

This workshop is recommended for any young dancer looking for a glimpse into the world of the Rockettes. The whole package is assembled professionally yet gives each student dancer a very personalized experience. The back stage tour was so interesting and informative. The workshop was just difficult enough to cover all the different ages and abilities.

Kids were engaged the whole time. The jazz,tap classes & mock audition was 3 hours in total. Then there was time for questions and answers, pictures, and autographs. The day ended with a back-stage tour that proved to be very interesting. It was well worth it! My daughter is 11 and loved it! I was very impressed.

My daughter went to the Rockette Experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone there from the director, Elizabeth Helms to the rockettes teaching the class, doing the mock auditions, q and a and the tour treated all participants with such grace and poise. Now my daughter is more prepared for her first real audition with the Rockettes and hopes to be part of the family one day very soon!

This will be an experience that won't be forgotten. You got your money's worth . The kids learned some jazz and tap moves by a classy professional Rockette. You did need experience though . The routines were tough because they were given Iin a short amount of time. However, all the kids got it. It was amazing to watch. The program was full, with mock auditions and a tour. Wonderful!

It was a rememberable experience.. I got to meet a lot of new people and the rockettes were amazing.
