Third Day was great and Jamie Grace

    by holliday2014 on 1/15/14Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

I had alot of fun with all the bands the price for a ticket was reasonable and I got to praise the Lord and dance for 4 hours. The show rocked when Skillet came on, wow, is all I can say.

Skillet, Third Day & Jamie Grace were amazing!!!!!

by AnnieCZ on 1/15/14Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

Fun night to worship with my best friend !!! Could of done without all the other bands,,,seemed lackluster, not musically talented, didn't offer a worship " feeling". Offered a good time to walk around while they played, The last three bands were the best and what we came for.

    Loved It!

    by Mako34 on 1/15/14Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

I wasn't much into the rap/pop music that came on in between the other artists. Other than that, I had never seen Third Day before. They're a little to mellow for me. But in concert? OMG, they were amazing. Mac Powell is incredible. The most distinctive voice in Christian music for the last 20 years can put on an amazing show. And the rest of the band still knows how to rock. They spent most of the time on rock & roll, but threw in a ballad. Great stuff. Skillet? What can I say. Their music was dead-on, perfect and the guitars/rhythms were tight and distinct. They had the band, plus a couple of crazy guys playing cello and violin. They nailed every single song. The energy was crazy from the first second, and continued to roll throughout the entire show. Look, Skillet is an amazing band on CD. But I did not expect them to be this good live. I honestly wondered if some of it might be canned. But there was enough variation to prove it was all live. I was completely blown away. Skillet is the real deal. They rocked the crowd and somehow left us satisfied and full, but yet.... wanting more and more.

    Rock and Worship Road Show

by ShaSha87 on 2/24/13American Airlines Center - Dallas

This was our first year to come to be a part of the road show and we loved it. Liked all the opening or debuting acts. Jeremy Camp and Mercy Me were great and loved seeing them worship without hesitation. I think out favorite part was when the new young singer was playing some praise and worship while the offering was being taken up and the whole audience was singing along with him and then he just stopped and walked away and the audience continued to sing and worship, that was powerful and it showed me that it wasn't all about the musicians or the person on stage at that time, it was about God!

    Great show in Phoenix!

    by Cactus521 on 2/24/13USAirways Center - Phoenix

I saw this concert on 2/23/13 at USAirways Center in downtown Phoenix. I have been to many Christian concerts before, but this was my first Christian concert in almost two decader so there were a new set of popular performers to hear. I didn't know what type of crowd to expect, so I left at what I felt was a good time and arrived at the arena shortly before the opening of the gates. I was amazed to see a line that surrounded the arena--almost a mile long. I'd never seen that many people in line for any event. I almost went home but instinct told me to stay and brave the line. I am glad I did. All ten performers brought something special to the concert--a special energy that only worship of God and Jesus can bring. Yet they made their energy accessible to every one--believers and secular individuals alike. It's so hard to choose a favorite performer. I'm from a "pre-rap" generation so I don't listen to rap--but even those performers were a joy to listen to live, and they represented only a small portion of the concert. This concert managed to nearly fill the arena--even the seats behind the stage were occupied. Even the seats in the highest section. I was blessed with nearly a perfect seat, positioned center stage and high enough that the full beauty of the excellent light and video show that went along with the concert was on display. To sum up, what a great event--nearly twenty thousand people all having a great time to celebrate not only God and Jesus, but the joy of musical performance in general. The artists brought this concert to us for only a $10.00 ticket price yet delivered a performance the equal of any headliner event.

    Roadshow Concert was Unbelivable!!

by lovelyshorty87 on 2/23/13American Airlines Center - Dallas

I was expecting to go to the concert and see one or two bands before Mercy Me. However, there were about 8 bands that played. It was amazing, I saw the Rhett Walker Band, Kutless, Jeremy Camp, Mercy Me, Tedashi, and others. There was a great variety of Christian music that appealed to all kinds of people. It was an amazing experience for me and the ones with me.

The right place at the right time.

by HealngHearts on 2/19/13American Airlines Center - Dallas

What an amazing event. I took a Co-Worker with me and along the way we met a wonderful lady and waited with her until her group of friends joined her. During this time we were able to hear her story & give ours it was such a Blessing. We made a new friend. Once we were in the Concert, amazing things were happening. The energy of the place was absolutely uplifting. The music was awesome, the stories were awesome. Everyone worshiping in the same place mind blowing. I would have loved each band to play longer but other than that, I can't wait to go again. Next year I will bring my kids.

    Spiritually Uplifting

by danielfranco63 on 2/18/13American Airlines Center - Dallas

I had already seen FamilyForce5 and Kutless before, so I knew i could expect a show from these two bands. This time it was at American Arilines Arena , these two put on a spectacular show with great sound and ligts. Before I had seen them perform at a 6 Flags outdoor ampitheatre. Kutless especially delivered in this grand venue. I beleive Jeremy Camp should have been the headliner because of the way he captured the audience with a communal worship. Each of his songs were inviting and seem to include the audience in a gathering of spirits for God. MercyMe performed many new songs and did not seem to engage the audience as deeply as Mr Camp. Please don't expect too many songs from any group. It is just not possible to fit that many songs in the limited time. I would highly recommend the show for a time of worship from a wide variety of music styles. I especially think it a great introduction for teens to the big scale music that is possible without the 'sex and drugs'. Amen!

    Rock and Worship is RIGHT!

by Anonymous on 2/17/13American Airlines Center - Dallas

Me,wife and two boys went and experienced an amazing time! How powerful it is for my kids to see that we are not the only ones that praise and worship as we do. Hearing the whole crowd sing along in worship is a moving experience! I would go to another Rock and Worship Roadshow in a second!

Great concert! Especially liked Kultess...it is hard for a band to sound live, just as they sound in a CD recording. Kutless pulled that off pretty well. MercyMe rocked the house as usual, as well.
