    Great idea, not great execution

by Swiftie13 on 3/21/23Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Loved the idea of this, but the show started 20 minutes late (which in toddler time is more like an hour), so kids were extremely antsy by the time they even got going. Band was great but didn't feel like they knew their audience - kids need pump up jams, not Tay's slow stuff. My 4-year-old was literally asleep on my shoulder by the end of it.

Let’s go back to The Sinclair

by ChicagoChef on 1/17/23Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Fun event for the kids. Love the music. Found The paradise a challenging venue. Lower stage and balcony closed provided poor sight lines for the kids. Preferred The Sinclair venue that was used multiple times in the past. Thx for putting these shows on!

Great for my six-month old and I

by Katie on 11/23/22Garcia's at The Capitol Theatre - Port Chester

My daughter is six-months old and we listen to Bob Marley at home all the time. She was dancing and having a blast. The band was very kid focused and all the toddlers were moving and grooving. They had a host and she organized kid-friendly activities for toddlers like the parachute and the limbo. We will definitely go back and have already looked into future concerts.

    Fun Experience!

by Brooke on 11/11/22Mercury Ballroom - Louisville

The Rock and Roll Playhouse series is very cool. We attended the Beatles one in November and will likely be going to the Rolling Stones in December. Super neat experience, and they do so many fun activities for the kids. The band was also amazing. I can't believe how much they sounded JUST like the Beatles. I seriously thought a CD was playing at first or something. I have a 1.5 year old, and honestly, he was maybe a little too young for following the activities, but he still loved it. I can't wait to take him when he's a little older. I would say the sweet spot for these events is 2-5 years old.

    Fantastic time!

by Ray M on 9/21/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

This was a childrens concert. The band was doing all Bruce Springsteen songs. THEY FREAKIN KILLED IT!!!!!! Id see them on a larger stage and pay more for a 2 hour show. Kids show had tons of fun, parachute, limbo, and was 100% geared to 0 years old +. Even my 8, 12, and 14 year old like it, but geared for younger.

    Great time

by BRN on 5/11/22High Noon Saloon - Madison

I've been to 2 of these with my son, and both were great. Not to long for the kids, the band is great, and the music was good enough for the kids and kept my interest. I will definitely go again if possible. Probably more suited for 2 years and up, but my 15 month old had a good time as well.

Rock & Roll Playhouse at The Vogel

by Jim on 4/27/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

Everything about this event was great!!! Our first time seeing a show at The Vogel, Security and Staff were super friendly and it’s a great venue set up. Everything was clean and beautiful, bathrooms were IMMACULATE!! Sound was great and the band was AMAZING, such a fun show. My son is 18 and was definitely the oldest kid there but he’s Dead to the Core and really enjoyed Rock & Roll Playhouse when we saw them at The Stone Pony a few years ago.

    Wonderful time!

by Scott on 12/14/21Garcia's at The Capitol Theatre - Port Chester

This was just a great experience for both kids and adults. It goes without saying that Beatles music is for all ages to enjoy, but the band does such a good job of performing in a kid friendly way that keeps them fully engaged while not sacrificing the enjoyment of the music for the parents. SO well done!

    Mediocre

by Nick on 2/25/20Varsity Theater - Minneapolis

Appropriate age is 2-4. Expect a half an hour of empty space before the show starts followed by 1 hour of music.
