About

What happens in Vegas…all started with The Rat Pack. This spirited show recreates one of the famous “Summit at the Sands” nights when swingin’, ring-a-ding group known as “The Rat Pack” was creating hipster legend with a free-wheeling, no-holds-barred nightclub act starring Vegas’ four favorite sons: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin and Joey Bishop. Produced by Dick Feeney, THE RAT PACK IS BACK features uncanny vocal recreations, unbridled humor, and a hot, live 12-piece orchestra that sends audiences straight back to the coolest time in history. Hits include “That’s Amore,” “My Way,” “Mr. Bojangles,” and many more.  See why The Las Vegas Sun writes, “This is as close as anyone has come to capturing the feeling of the real thing,” and the Chicago Tribune raves, “Classic comic material.  Excellent!”

The Rat Pack Is Back show presented a retro trip down memory lane with outstanding vocals, comedy throughout, and a great band. Lots of laughs and super entertaining.

  • Rat Pack great show

Show was great especially Dean Martin although I think they could have toned down the drunk bit a little, a little to slap-stick....only thing disappointed over all was ticketmaster coning me into event insurance some how......don't even know how it happened, ended up with a charge on my card.

This reminded us of the small intimate showrooms of Vegas; perfect venue for this show. The setting was wonderful; the orchestra fantastic; and the boys, well, the boys could only have been better had they sang on and on and on. Just totally enjoyed the trip back to yesteryear. Would have so loved if Dean could have come running out and slid onto the piano.

This was a fun show with excellent performances that brought the original Rat Pack members and their songs and voices back to mind--the music that was on my mom's radio when I was a little girl! My 88 year old mother was along and had a great time.

Great show, We will go see them again in Vegas. Remarkable talent, as close as you get to the original.

  • Disappointed

by ohiojjean on 1/12/16Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 2 out of 5

We left at intermission. We both love this kind of music but found the performances of two rat pack members to be disappointing. Dean Martin looked the part, but had a very weak voice and had the audience do most of the singing. Sammy Davis is hard to imitate, but we'd hoped for better. Frank Sinatra and Joey Bishop were pretty good, however. The deciding factor for our leaving early was that our seats were terrible--my neck hurt after a while twisting my head so far to the left to see what was going on. I couldn't hear all the punch lines either--I don't know if it was the performers' use of their microphones, or the acoustics. If the seats had been better, we might have stayed to fight the exiting traffic--perhaps we missed the best part of the show. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Excellent show and venue. Only problem is parking. They should offer valet parking for the older adults and handicap.

I thought Joey Bishop was the best part. I wish I could remember more of the jokes they were funny.

  • A+

A lot more effort should have be put into the back ground set rather just a black curtain. Maybe a New York City looking set? Dean not enough singing

What a GREAT event! Haven't laughed so hard in along time!! The orchestra was amazing!! Loved the music, the songs and the jokes! It was great that they took the time to take photos with everyone after the show.

Excellent entertainment! Enjoyed the show from start to finish. Thought characters portrayed did an excellent job. I would see the show again.

  • Good but felt incomplete

by LordKildare on 5/12/15Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Very good show, but too short for the price. They shortened almost all the songs that were performed. At $77 a ticket I'd have liked to hear the whole songs!

  • rat pack is back

by flowersarefun on 5/12/15Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The program was ok. Sinatra and Dean Martin were good, but we were disappointed with Sammy Davis jr. They also seemed to be having issues with the sound system.

  • Great show

    by GeorgeW76 on 5/11/15Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The Rat Pack is Back is a very good imitation of what the original Rat Pack must've been like back when Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Joey Bishop prowled the streets and stages of Las Vegas. I had seen videos of the group before, but this was the first time to see what it really must have looked like. Each performer had their part, beginning with Joey Bishop's open joke session, Dean's and Sammy's singing before the intermission. After that, it was Sinatra and the group doing a comedy routine. While the man playing Sinatra sorta looked like him, his voice was tremendous. If you closed your eyes, you would have thought it was Ole Blue Eyes himself. The singer who played Dean Martin really looked like the old Dino and sang well also. Sammy Davis's impersonator did not look much like his character, but he too could sing and dance. Joey Bishop's character had the right inflection and accent and a perfect deadpan delivery. All in all, it was a great show!

  • Poor Audio Marred Performance

    by BSmith001 on 5/11/15Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 1 out of 5

The sound quality was very poor and it was very difficult to understand the various jokes and banter. Even the music was indistinct and hard to enjoy. Although the actors tried hard to please, the singing performance of "Sammy Davis" and "Dean Martin" was poor with many missed notes. Only "Frank Sinatra" did a really good job and we enjoyed his singing performance. If the audio quality had been up-to-snuff and there was less talking, more music, we would have enjoyed the show.

  • Rat Pack over emoted

    by Boomer222 on 5/11/15Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The actors looked like their Pack member, dressed the part, and sounded great. However, they over acted their parts and detracted from my enjoyment of hearing the music again. For example, did Dean really need to act intoxicated for the whole performance? He set the stage in his opening performance, but after that get back to straight music. He disrupted every song with some antic or joke that got in the way of the music. Others had the same problem. Why didn't Sammy do "Candyman"? Why didn't Frank do "It was a very good year"

  • Sinatra was great in voice, mannerisms everything

by Jadebutterfly on 11/4/13Rosemont Theatre - RosemontRating: 3 out of 5

The music was great and the guys playing Dean Martin, Sammy Davis and Joey bishop all had thier characters personalitys down but the only one who sounded like the real person was Frank.Sinatra. He had the look sound mannerisms..everything spot on! They all sang well and are obviously talented but all four of us who attended agreed that anyone of us can sing the songs but the magic is making you believe they are right Ther sing to you....Frank was the only one who did. Still an entertaining show

  • Entertaining

by Wendelynn on 10/26/13Rosemont Theatre - RosemontRating: 3 out of 5

Drew Anthony as Dean Martin was stop on. He definitely looked and sounded like him. A little too much emphasis on drinking and womanizing for my liking. Although entertaining for sure, I've seen better. P.S. The Rosemont area is now worse than a zoo!
