I didn’t expect much, but I was surprised. It’s just as good as performance in Lincoln center. So glad I don’t have to go to city for this kind of performance.
A beautiful afternoon of terrific music. Orchestra and choir were fantastic
The word "holiday"was in the title and so I thought it would be "Jingle Bells"and "Silent Night,"but instead it was very solemn and depressing. I could not wait for it to be over. The voices were beautiful though, but song choices were too austere.
a positive concert with joyful singing, beautiful soloists, excellent orchestra and a sense of community and using music to build bridges - wonderful people!
Attended the concert presented by the Queens College Choral Society. Masterful performance especially this was Braham's German Requiem which must be quite a challenge. Cannot fault their performance and feel that they are up there with the likes of Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center. They were awesome.
The singers had powerful voices. The chorus sang beautifully and cohesively. The orchestra played wonderfully.
Loved it! A choir filled with all ages, capacities, races and creeds. They created the most melodic treat of Handel's Messiah. Wonderfully done
Inspirational performance. Excellent conducting. Original presentation.
