    Great show!

by elizabeth13215 on 10/19/22The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

It was a wonderful afternoon, though I thought the movie sound volume was a little loud. It was nice to see the movie again, especially with an audience, and Cary Elwes's interview was fun.

    Fun event

by KristieN on 10/19/22The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

My 13 year old and I both love this movie - what a treat to be able to see it on the big screen. The movie never disappoints and Cary Elwes was charming, funny and very entertaining. Lots of fun to hear some behind the scenes stories and some background on the movie/book that we weren’t aware of prior to this event. Definitely recommend!

Only disappointment was the sound quality…hard to understand at times!

    Perfect venue

by Mrhockstedler on 8/24/22Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

This was a jaw dropping experience for us. From the exquisite art deco architecture, to the in house organ player, the whole experience was phenomenal. Very clean environment, comfortable seating, and friendly staff. We will definitely be back again!

    As you wish

by Movie fan on 8/24/22Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

It was a great experience and we had good seats. I had trouble hearing parts of the movie and was still able to follow it. The staff was polite and helpful as we came in. One recommendation give size dimensions of ladies bags or purses so we won’t worry we have an oversized bag.

Very Conceivable and I do know what that word means

by DJD on 12/8/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

It was a great event! Got to see the movie again in a proper theatre with fans who also appreciated it and the liveliness of the experience! The Dread Pirate Robert in person was great! What more can you say, but "As you wish!" Have fun storming the Castle!

    The Princess Bride

by Di R on 12/7/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

Easy to find location and tremendous service. A great event with movie fans clapping at their favorite scenes and quoting lines with the characters - "As you wish." The discussion after the movie was well run; moderator kept the flow going.

I really enjoyed seeing the movie on a big screen

by JC on 12/7/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

It was a really fun event. Cary Elwes is very funny and so talented. We thought that the interview would ha e been longer for the cost of the tickets.

    Very Enjoyable Evening

by Lou S on 12/6/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

My wife and I haven't gone to any type of event since COVID-19 hit. This particular evening was fantastic. Easy venue to get to. Plenty of available parking. 2 minutes walk from lot to NJPAC. Venue was easy to enter even with Covid protocols. Event was awesome. Cary Elwes was incredibly funny and delightful to listen to. Movie, of course, was brilliant. Great evening all around.

    Uninspiring

by Jeff on 12/6/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

Interview was short and boring with few anecdotes. Could have been accompanied by some interesting visuals from the movie shoot. Barely any effort was put into this.

    Near Perfection

by Noxide on 12/6/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

Nice wide seats, great sound system, modern , well organized, fantastic theater experience. Only MINOR con? seat could have used a bit more padding. Thats really it!

    Great experience all around!

by Jen on 12/6/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

Thoroughly enjoyed thus event from beginning to end. Had a great meal at Nico's, conveniently located right on site, and adult beverages were perfect. The event started promptly and I loved the feeling of community as everyone was engaged in a common love for this movie. Cary Elwes was brought out immediately afterwards and was received with total love and admiration. His interview was entertaining and insightful. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of The Princess Bride!

    We left early

by Sarah F on 12/6/21New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

It was fun to see the movie on the big screen and relive the nostalgia, but the Q&A afterwards left something to be desired. The questions asked were milquetoast and doubtfully written by the audience. Especially since there were a huge bowl of questions left sitting outside the theater door, obviously untouched. Carey's stories were contrived and rehearsed. The event lacked genuine interest or intent. We left the Q&A section early.

There's a shortage of perfect movies in the world...

    by K. M. on 11/20/19Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

...and this is one of them. It's amazing to watch the movie again in a crowd of like-minded PB fans who recite all of the famous lines and cheer in the appropriate places. This is followed by Cary on the stage for (I think) about an hour and a half, telling behind-the-scenes stories and talking about the cult status of the movie. If you are a PB fan and haven't yet read his book (As You Wish), you're missing out - it's a must-read. Highly recommended, go see this if you're a PB fan.

    Cary Elwes was amazing

by Lauren W on 11/19/19Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

Event: Really enjoyed the experience of watching The Princess Bride and then hearing from Cary Elwes after the movie. He was such an interesting interviewee and he told such rich stories. The interviewer, Kurt Loder, was a poor interviewer - to the point where I was embarrassed for Elwes. It was as if Loder wasn't listening; the interview could have been an amazing conversation and instead Loder just went through a list of questions. Really disappointed in that aspect but Cary Elwes was a consummate professional and was able to keep the interview afloat. Venue: The theater should have had more bars open. Waited in line for 20 minutes for a bottle of water.

Cary Elwes is nicest guy ever

by Ace on 11/19/19Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

Yes, even nicer than Keanu! :) Great night. My only complaint was the prices were a bit high and the audience was recording during the movie (really??? Don't you own the DVD and probably the VHS tape, too?). The talkback was rich with anecdotes and Elwes was very aware of his audience and had some cool shoutouts.
