The Presidents of the United States Tickets

The Presidents of the United States of America are by FAR the best band I have ever seen perform live. Chris's giddy attitude and hilarious personality made the whole experience a whole lot better than I thought it would. The whole band was absolutely hysterical. I laughed my ass off when they played the 2nd song: "Kitty" and everybody below the stage started bouncing along with the beat. I'm usually not the type to be that crazy during concerts, but this song just made me want to attempt a massive dive into the crowd. Aw, man. After the band performed, the band came back out for an encore. Little did we all know that the lead singer- Chris, would GET MARRIED. Oh yeah...on stage, on Valentine's Day, at midnight. Definitely something I didn't expect at the end of the performance. Well...actually...it wasn't the end of the performance. They kept playing through the night up to the point when my legs got too tired and we had to leave. God only knows how long they kept playing after we left... Of course, in every concert there are the flaws that come to mind. No chairs. That bothered me quite a bit. I had to sit down occasionally to prevent the sudden feeling of faintiness during the performance. The crowds also got to me, and made it harder to move around or even sit on the floor. The band still kicked tons of ass regardless of MY OWN problems. The opening band was...eh. "BOAT", I believe. They were alright but I felt that as time passed by, their music eventually turned to plain noise. Nevertheless, a great concert indeed. From what I could see, (My view was pretty close considering we were at the Showbox; a BAR in other words where everybody stood no further than 50 feet away from the stage... ) the band was perfect, and I would love to go see them again sometime. ROK ON! >:D

People Eating People was pretty good. A great opener for PUSA. They set the stage. Black Daisy - Not so much... I get the joke, but it could have been better made with a single song - not an entire set. The Presidents simply rocked! They had the whole place jumping up and down and played a good mix of songs from their entire catalog. They were excellent from start to finish!

The ticket said the show started at 8 pm. The Presidents didn't come on till 11:30 pm. This especially sucked since my husband had to work at midnight. We thought for sure we would be able to actually SEE THE SHOW WE PAID FOR!!! I actually cried, since they are one of my absolute favorite bands, I have never seen them live, and we had to leave after 3 songs. I cried. The first opener was pretty good. The second just sucked. A Steel Panther wannabe? Not okay since Steel Panther is a Spinal Tap wannabe. Half of the crowd was booing the whole time they were up there. I actually want my money back.

People Eating People were pleasant. I hadn't heard them before, but I can't help but describe their sound as "pleasant." Black Daisy was off the wall with a bunch of short hooks and some hit and miss comedy that really hit when it did. The Presidents? Well they brought the rock. There's nothing quite the same as jumping up and down and starting a mosh-pit to "Kitty" or "Boll Weevil." Is it dorky? Yes. Am I proud of it? Yes. Shouting every last word of "Peaches" and "Lump" back at the band and the physical experience of having such a great time gave me a rush for several days.

Showbox was amazing place and the atmosphere was great! I went to see the presidents of the USA and they were amazing!!! very down to earth, fun, and energetic. However, the intro bands were boring and unentertaining. If it weren't for the presidents performing i would have left early. But i would defenitely recommend going to see the presidents live!!

The show was great! They rocked the house. Could have done without the wedding though...

Great show! Only one complaint... they didn't play Stranger! Chris Balou got married onstage at midnight (that made it Valentine's Day), which was pretty neat.

If you've never seen The presidents ( of the united states of america) your missing out! They'll rock the pants off your old school rockers pants hehehe! there were kids and their parents there enjoying the show :) Family rockers!

Every Presidents show I've ever been to has been a blast! They always pick the best opening acts, which never disappoint. The Presidents are even better live than on CD, as if they could get any better! They usually have the audience sing certain parts of their songs and always do something goofy for every song. I recommend this show for anyone! They play a three stringed guitar, and the sound is very unique, and they never fail to get the audience revved up!

This show was absolutely amazing! Especially being a 1st concert for both my 14 yr old and 10 yr old and both having been raised with us blasting their music!! I did find it odd that so many people didn't know their old music but made ME happy to hear them play it!! The surprise wedding and Dave playing along with them as well made this one kickass night! THANK YOU!! This show will now be considered one of my favorites concert memories! Can't wait till their next show!

What an incredible show! The Presidents rocked my socks off. Chris (lead singer) married his girlfriend on stage at the end of the show with hundreds cheering him on. Unforgettable!

As always they brought the energy and great times. Andrew was great and having Dave come and play a portion of the show was a++++++++ bonus. Molly Lewis was a wonderful addition to the show. Never heard Boat before but thought they were entertaining.

PUSA rocked the house. High energy, great mix of songs old and new. Awesome treat to have Dave play with them too!

If you ever get a chance to see The President of the United States of America... do! They are energetic, incredible-sounding and look like they are really having fun. The entire audience is jumping and singing and having a fantastic time. The Showbox is a great, small venue. It has good acoustics and it's intimate enough that you can enjoy the show from just about anywhere. My main complaint is the time the Presidents started. The ticket says 8:00pm. The Presidents didn't come on until nearly 11:30pm. I didn't prepare for that and I ended up leaving in the middle of their set, but I left satisfied and pumped up from their awesome performance.

It was a fantastic show great venue very cozy and intimate for a great band like that ,that feeds off the crowd. great concert for my 16 yr old son to see for his first concert

Great show by a good band! They were fun, fast and oh yes Fun.

The guys put on a great show last night and the opening acts were a lot of fun too.

The Presidents always know how to throw down. I have never been disappointed.
