We try to go every year to this movie. It gives children and adults holiday smiles. It’s even better in the IMax because you feel emerced in the movie with the surround sound! If you just BELIEVE ❤️
Love the movie and the venue! Didn’t see the reading part that was a separate ticket. One young lady came to the door and yelled anyone here for the reading? We all looked at each other. Proper signage would be helpful so people who got there early didn’t get rushed! The movie sound was entirely too loud. The process to get in was poorly managed. Most people jumped line. Only two doors (side-by-side) were open making it crowded to get in. People searched bags and and security wands. I’m all for safety, but it was a haphazard process. Seemed like everything was thrown together last minute. Disappointing. Yes, it was a sold out show, but they should’ve been more prepared. I’ve been to a couple events, same thing. You’d think they’d improve their process.
This was a wonderful start to our date night beginning with an amazing performance of the restored Whurlitzer organ. The sound was too loud for my old ears; however, I was able to hear a lot of dialogue missed while watching the small screen. What a night.
It was an amazing experience. Kids loved it. Staff was amazing.
It was a most nostalgic event in that if it had not been for my late brother Ron, i would have never watched it and it was a cut i had never seen but enjoyed immensely. I would lovevto get a copy. As a Dusabled Veteran, this was an awesome gift. The Organist, ushers, and the Concession staff were all outstanding. Thank you!!
Fantastic! Loved the Christmas songs before the movie. Beautiful theater. I can’t wait to go back.

What a beautiful Theater! What a wonderful opportunity for families and children who would otherwise not be able to experience the beauty of historic Shea’s Theater. A free event like this is a wonderful way for all to develop application for historical buildings and the arts! They do need to adjust the focus of the film...it was a bit blurry. Also so difficulty with the film was a bit of a bummer. But, it really didn’t take too much away from our experience because we had already seen the film.
Gorgeous venue. Friendly staff/volunteers. Wonderful concessions. It's one of my favorite places ❤
There was a problem with the 3-D but it was fixed before too much of the movie played. They gave us vouchers for another movie afterwards, however, if you didn’t know they were giving them you list out
3D was not working until 40 mini into the movie and then stopped working again the last 20 min The whole point of this movie in imax is for the 3D experience.
I absolutely LOVED the idea of letting children experience the beauty of our Historic Shea's Theatre. Such a magical place for Christmas and the staff was friendly and welcomg to my young children. I dont know if it was the location of our seats and the angle we were looking at the screen from the balcony but the film was so BLURRY. It gave me such a horrible headache.
This was our first time at IMAX. The show was incredible. The staff met all of our needs (my son was on crutches). The seating was great and the bathrooms were clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. We will definitely be back!
Even 21 month old grandchild was mesmerized!!! And afterwards loved showing off to friends from abroad this exquisite landmark!!!
We had such a great time! We will be visiting more often!
This was a very pleasant experience. Our Children's Church went to see this movie. The theater is beautiful.
We started coming here a few years ago as a new family tradition. My Mom and Dad met at the Alabama Theater and we started the tradition to keep them alive during the holidays! Love this new tradition!!
We took our grandson for his first visit to the Alabama Theatre, special surprise when he got to see The new big rigs out front,got to get inside one and blow the horn.We loved the decorations inside,and special surprise was meeting Santa and getting in his lap and with a picture,we'll never forget,thanks a million.
Excellent my grands kids and goddaughter had a blast. They sat through the whole movie.
My neice snd nephews thoroughly enjoyed the show. They were in awe of both features. As they have never seen either movie. I'm so happy I was able to take them
