THE PLAYERS Championship Tickets

Overall "The Players" practice rounds I attended really showed how the players are out of their competition mode, They were down to earth and approachable. Phil Mickelson especially, I got meet him and let me tell you he is probably the nicest pro golfer I have ever met. The PGA really showed support to all of us in the military.

My 11 year old son and I went to TPC Sawgrass for our second time and this year was even more memorabe than last. Besides it being a wonderful time for the two of us, it really inspires him in his game to do better, want more, and practice harder. He loves watching the players on the range, by seeing them spending so much time on the range it does confirm to him what his coach tells him. The players are so close and engaging it is truly amazing and well worth the cost of the tickets.

It was very surprising to note that tuck in the lush trees is a theme park like environment. Not to mention the big names in pro golf are there, in person making more TV. On top of that, the military appreciation event which was rounded up with a five song appearance of country star Tim McGraw. As a retired member of the USAF, I was able to get in for free. Now I'm looking forward to future events even if I have to pay. Try going, you'll like it...guarantee.

We've been to a number of golf tournaments, but this one tops them all!!! Loved everything about our 3 days of practice watching.....and the parking was free and convenient!!!! We saw Rory McIlroy on his birthday.....and even got a hug/picture. On Wed., we got to watch the caddie competition at #17.....that was special also. Some of the caddies should be on the tour...... We ordered the tickets online and they were delivered promptly....so easy!

Great Venue. Well set up and run. Find the shady areas on sunny days because it gets hot. Watch the 17th in the morning because there is not shade in the afternoon. 16, 17 an 18 are close together so you can easily watch play at all three.

We got there early and walked the course for the next 3 1/2 hours in heat and humidity and didn't mind it at all. The course is beautiful and looks exceedingly difficult. Gorgeous plants throughout to compete with the golfers - red knockout roses, blue delphiniums. The island green was fantastic to see up close and in person. You can't get the whole experience by watching it on TV. Followed Rory McIlroy (our newest golfing millionaire) for a few holes. He's a class act and so were Adam Scott and Justin Rose, who played with him. Between holes they signed numerous autographs and had their picture taken with fans, numerous times. Once back on the tee, they were all business. But, what a trio of nice young men. Another facet you won't see on TV. We watched Phil Mickelson walk up to the green smiling and enjoying himself. Even after he chili-dipped a short putt into the sand. Of course, he hit it out and it landed close to the pin. Something that doesn't happen very often to we duffers! The course is beautiful, the 100s of staff and volunteers were 100% gracious and helpful and were obviously enjoying the experience. We always go to the practice rounds because of the informality and because we can take pictures to bring home to remind ourselves of a very enjoyable experience.

This was a very memorable event. We really enjoyed the day. It was nice talking with other retired and active duty military. People we did not know but had a common bond no matter what era you were from. I think the TPC made a good choice in moving the concert but only down side was some of the speakers did not speak directly into the microphone which diminished the volume at the back of the venue. Tim McGraw was great. Could have been longer but still great.

The event was well worth attending. I Think the crouds was much larger than expected. The Military concession was over whelmed !!!! Arriving was very good ,but leaving was a desaster!!! over kill on attendents to aid in parking but none in leaving. After a good day it was a disappointing end.

The golf course was beautiful. All the flowers were a work of art. The access to the players and the players themselves were fantastic. They were so friendly in spite of very serious business. The views across and around the golf course were the best. The PGA and The Player's Club could not have been kinder and more attentive. As an "old army wife" with 26 moves behind me, I just want to say Thank You for two lovely days. It was beyond expectations from the ease of parking, to the entrance way (how clever) to the building that Lockheed and ChickFillet had for us. Even the bathroom there was beyond belief. The young wounded troops were delighted that they were being appreciated. Thank you so very much for a highlight for my golfing experience. I am so impressed that the PGA tries to keep to the "high road" with it's requirements for their players. It is the last of the "gentlemen in sports". We need this badly in this country, not only for your young people but for all of us. Set the standards high and people will meet them. Thank you very, very much.

The parking was ample and close to venue. There were several hydrating stations, restrooms etc. grounds were immaculate. This is such a well organized event. I had never gone before fearing a big disorganized cluster and it was nothing like that...I was amazed at how well organized every step was. Tim McGraw...awesome!

i've attended the TPC tournament in the past, but never the practice rounds. this is a great opportunity to meet the players and get pictures and autographs. most players are very willing to sign an autograph for a kid or fan (i brought my nine year old who had a blast with his 9 year old cousin who is also an amateur tour golfer).

Didn't see any golf due to the weather but the Military Outpost, Blue Angels and Tim McGraw were totally worth going. Thanks TPC for such a great event!!
