The Play That Goes Wrong (Chicago) Tickets

I adore the show. It is the only show my adult daughter has EVER asked to see more than once. Sadly, we were informed less than 12 hours before the show that the show was canceled. Our money was refunded but I would rather have traded in for one of the 3 more days it was running, but we were not given that choice and purchasing a new ticket was MUCH more expensive, so we couldn't see it.

This play was hilarious - my husband and I were laughing the whole time. I'm not one to laugh out loud when I find things funny, but this play made me do so numerous times. Not only funny, but the jokes, physical comedy, and use of the stage props was very clever and well done. My only problem is near the end, some jokes did become a little repetitive and loud, such that it just wasn't funny and would interrupt/distract from the plot/whatever else was going on (with this, I would've given the show 4.5 stars, but I will be an optimist and give it 5 stars!). If you are a fan of Monty Python, I think you will enjoy this show.

We had such a fun night enjoying this play. The cast was absolutely perfect and the script was so funny and well written.

I bought these tickets on a whim as a Mother’s Day present without any background knowledge on what it was about. Once I read more on it, I thought it sounded kind of corny. I’m happy to report that I was wrong! It was well thought out on the various scenarios that may go awry during a production. The theater was the perfect size and there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. It was a fun, entertaining and suitable for all ages. Def recommend if you’re able to attend :)

Hilarious, great acting, great action. This is one of the best stage shows I've seen. Mu kids (12 and 8) absolutely loved it!

In today's visual world, we are not used to seeing slapstick or physical comedy in many genres. This play did them both very well.

The show is so good! I fell in love with the show from the first time I saw it! It’s so funny I was actually crying while watching it! The whole experience is one that was consistently on point all three times I went. I will never forget it because of how memorable it is. Highly recommend anyone who likes comedy sees this show!

I saw this play inNYC in 20019 but this 2022 version in Chicago did not miss a beat! It was as energetic, hilarious, and well timed as the original. Kudos to this production.
