So enjoyed this concert once again. Loved the VIP experience! Henry Paul sitting on a stool on stage talking for 30 minutes about life and career. Just incredible!!!
Never got an email to tell me what time to show for meet and greet so I missed it.
HENRY PAUL stills leads this southern rock band after 50 years with his voice and incredible song writing like ITS ABOUT PRIDE AND GREY GHOST. A true word master about southern rock and its history and how they honor the other bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker and The Allman Brothers. If you enjoy jamming and guitar mastery there is no band better than THE OUTLAWS. They finish with one of the greatest Jamming sounds of all time along with Freebird and that is GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES. Just an amazing experience to witness and play along with your air guitar, you will be exhausted by the end of the song. Just something magical to see these amazing artist and their excellence in their craft. They are truly the GUITAR ARMY. The best guitar play you will ever see so get out to see them if they are in your area. AMAZING
Great performance with 2 amazing lead guitarists. Temporarily lost my hearing after the final song(Green Grass) but isn’t it worth it?
Our seats were perfect back by the sound board. Could see and not too loud as compared to closer to the stage.
I surprised my husband with tickets, he is a longtime Outlaws fan. He first saw them at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, 1976. We did the VIP meet and greet and it was excellent. Henry Paul, in a small acoustic session, sharing stories and wisdom to his fans. After he did pictures and even signed my husbands vinyl, cassette and 8 track! The show was amazing, the rhythm, choreography, vocals was out of this world. Highly suggest seeing them. Also Henry’s son “little Henry” and his band the Buzzards opened for them and they were out of this world good. Again, catch a show with these bands, you won’t regret it.
Lead guitarists are terrific. The voices sound so close to the original group. The band was enthusiastic and so talented. Henry had so much energy on stage. The fans responded in kind. I am sure there were a lot of tired people with no voice the next morning.
I had an excellent time and was excited to see that the soul of the original Outlaws lives on.
Another amazing evening of nearly non stop southern rock with the Outlaws. I have been a fan for decades and they have never let me down.
After seeing this performance at Turning Stone Resort, to me they are the BEST live band in America today. Seasoned professionals that play great songs that can only be delivered by world class musicians. Gorgeous harmonies and the most powerful twin lead guitars I've ever heard. And to top it off, you can see they are having fun on stage and the members certainly give it everything they have even at this late stage in their career. For anyone that appreciates stellar musicianship and a powerful rock show, The Outlaws are a must see event!
50 years in the business and the outlaws still put on a guitar clinic with their music and still sound great
I have seen over 25 shows in the US and 3 Provinces in Canada in the past year.. These were acts and bands that are Big names. I have to say this was the best put together event I attended . From the music to delivery The Outlaws are truly second to none with the authenticity ,music, delivery and performance. Exceptional performance in every way ! Outstanding in every way. Check them out if you are fortunate enough , I would not miss this show .
The Outlaws and Henry Paul sounded as good as ever! It is hard to believe after listening to and viewing Henry Paul on Sunday, that he is 73 years old, as he is in great physical condition. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, but do wish the drummer's volume was slightly raised and we also wished the keyboard player/organist was given a solo. Make no mistake about it, this is a guitar band, so if you do not enjoy blistering guitar solos, this may not be your cup of tea. Both Jeff (stratocaster) and Jimmy are amazing guitar players, and Henry Paul is an amazing vocalist. My only negative was the band did not taking the amps/monitors/speaker columns completely out of the travel cabinets. The tops were taken off the travel cabinets and the equipment remained in the bottom half of the cabinet which sat up on the caster wheels. Did this affect the sound quality if you were close to the stage, maybe or maybe not - but why risk it for 15 minutes of extra labor? At 60 years old, I would of showed up early to help-out and stayed late to pack the equipment back up! Overall, we will always cherish our night with the Outlaws. Seeing the band for the first time, after 50 years of listening to their music was very special!
Despite an ever changing supporting lineup, Henry Paul is still The Outlaws. As he stated, all the current band members grew up as fans of the group and have a great respect for the sound and tradition of the band. This concert, the last stop on their 50th anniversary tour, showcased some of the best guitar playing you will ever hear and see. With two lead guitarists trading incredible riffs and adding voices eerily similar to the band's original members, if you closed your eyes you were transported back to the band's heyday. A fifteen song set list featured all the band's greatest hits (including a concluding nearly 20 minute version of "Green Grass and High Tides" that had the entire sold out crowd on its feet), and Henry Paul, Jr., came on stage to perform a stunning rendition of Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World". Though three of the original members have passed away, The Outlaws are as strong as ever. If you were ever a fan, don't miss them when they tour again.
Show started exactly on time, in Casino fashion. I saw the Outlaws in 1977. Though Henry Paul is the remaining member of the current lineup, this group Killed it. Started with “Here goes another love song”. They played 3 songs before Paul finally addressed the crowd, choosing to let the music demonstrate the talent of this guitar centric band that I’ve enjoyed since my teens. They played for 95 minutes and of course finished with the epic Green grass and high tides. I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Henry Paul still sings well and the others are super musicians. Well worth the price of admission
Such a great show! They played the Outlaws classics I was hoping to hear, and a couple Henry Paul Band songs. The talent is unbelievable, the guitar work incredible!! If you’re an Outlaws fan, or a fan of southern rock and amazing guitar playing, you have to see this show!
The Showroom remodel was so comfortable - large and spacious seats, great sound, and not a bad seat in the house. The band was excellent as always! The Outlaws seemed pleased and fed off of the audience well. The Showroom at Turning Stone needs more of these top notch shows and less of the knock-off bands.
The iconic Outlaws never miss a beat! The 2 new guitarists are fabulous and it is always heartwarming to see “little” Hank play with the band. Looking forward to seeing them on RLCX!
I had a seat at table 8, right up near the stage. The Outlaws Guitarists moved around and made use of the stage front, taking turns coming out to the front of stage and each taking stands at center, left and right. Allowing for some excellent views of all of those flying chords! Such great energy and dedication to the music !
It was another awesome night seeing The Outlaws live. The Blue Ocean Music Hall was a wonderful venue. The staff at The Blue Ocean Music Hall was wonderful.
