Right from the start you could feel there was that Magic in the air ~
Great show! They played all of their greatest hits and opened with "There goes another love song". Great venue as well as there are no bad seats.
What a great show at a great venue. Couldn't have imagined the Outlaws would still be rocking the way they did! I think they are even better than they were in the 80's!!!!! As always, Penn's Peak is the place to see a show. Keep up the great work everyone.
Such a great band putting on a great show. I grew up listening to the Outlaws and I got the chance to finally see them with my dad. They played lots for their greats as well as some new stuff. Great show.
HENRY PAUL LOOKED AND SOUNDED GREAT. BLACKHAWK AND THE OUTLAWS HARMONIES WERE ON THE MONEY. THE MUSICIANS WERE OVER THE TOP. THE LEAD GUITERIST FROM BOTH OUTLAWS AND BLACKHAWK RIPPED AND WERE AWSOME. THE SOUND LEVEL WAS JUST RIGHT, YOU COULD HERE THE LERICKS AND FEEL THE MUSIC WITHOUT GETTING A HEADACHE! THEY PLAYED EVERY SONG YOU WOULD EXPECT TO HEAR AND A FEW NEW SPRICKLED IN. I CAN APPRECIATE THE EFFORT THESE GUYS PUT INTO THE SHOW AND IN NO WAY ARE JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS. (TRUE PROFESSIONALS) PENNSPEAK IS AN INCREDIBLE VENUE AND CLOSER THAN MOST FOLKS THINK.
I was overwhelmed by how good the Outlaws were....Excellent vocals and harmonies...Amazing guitar playing by Chris Anderson and Steve Grisham!!! I would go see them again!!! Kudos to Henry Paul for doing a great job in both Blackhawk and The Outlaws...
Amazing Performance. Two shows one band southern rock and country.
We were all disappointed that the Blackhawks and Outlaws were the same group, Outlaws sang good, but was disappointed again that they didn't play many of their good songs that everyone knew and came out to hear!
It was my first time seeing the Blackhawk show which was very enjoyable. I brought my 26 year old daughter who is a Blackhawk fan and she also enjoyed the show...Seats were general admission, so we were able to sit close to the stage. The Outlaw show was also very good and not shortened due to the Blackhawk show...overall it was a very enjoyable evening that wasn't too expensive....can't wait for the next show!
The venue was very nice, set up for easy access to the restaurant, bar, restrooms, seating and stage. Of course Blackhawk/The Outlaws always put on a wonderful show and have meet and greets with their fans. You will not find a better concert by a more humble band. Perfect night out!
We sat upstairs and bathed in the tone that undeniably lets you know its Henry Paul and the Outlaws. No matter how many women I've been through (a lot), I always see them and they are always so thankful to do what they do. You can hear it and see it.
Excellent concert. Never had seen the Blackhawk material performed and it was pretty good. Only about 1:20 for the Outlaws. Would have rather seen the full Outlaws show only. Chris Anderson is on the level of Dickey Betts. He was super. Can't get enough of his playing. Too bad Billy Crain isn't with the group anymore. He was always worth double the price of admission. Disappointed not to hear "So Long" but the band was tight and gave full effort. They really sounded great and would see them every week if they were around that often. Henry mentioned playing at the Commack Arena when they first played in Long Island in the early 70s. Was just a little too young but wish I were there for that one. Hope they come back soon.
In front of an enthusiastic crowd, these guys brought the goods all night long. Every Blackhawk song was a classic and the harmonies these guys make are like heaven. "Ships of Heaven" is an all-time great and a fitting eulogy to Van Stephenson. After a break, the band came back in Outlaws mode and really rocked the place to the ground. The "Florida Guitar Army" was in fine form! I hope these guys come back again because I would see them in a heartbeat. As an aside, the Paramount is a GREAT place to see a show!
The Outlaws were their usual rocking guitar army. Both Chris Anderson's and Steve Grishams guitars were smokin and the bands harmony was fantastic. Henry Paul is a great front man and seemed to be very humble and gracious for the fans that were there ( not that many I must add). Overall The Outlaws ROCKED !
Great vocals as well as their awesome guitar playing. This band is as good as it gets. Go see them for yourself you won't be disappointed.
I saw Blackhawk before in Sacramento at luncheon and concert that evening. This concert though was just as awesome. Really enjoy the music. Never heard the Outlaws before, but they were great. I wish they would have sang "Postmarked Birmingham" love the song.
These guys tore it up and burned it down!!! It should definitely be on your Don't Miss list!
The music was excellent was bummed they didnt play longer security at harrahs was way to senitive for just enjoying the music
I wish we could have found information on the web site about sitting and start times for the bands. I wish it was advertised more the attendance was terrible for such a great group. We felt like we have a private concert.
The show was out of this world it was the best OUTLAW show I have seen in 20 years
