About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • Offspring are still my favorite

by youneedapen on 7/2/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring concert was great! They are still my favorite band after all these years. They are hilarious and entertaining and have a great variety of songs that will not let anyone be bored. The only things is I wish they would'de played for a little longer--there are so many good songs, I would've liked to hear a few more.

  • Offspring and Dropkick Murphys = Legendary!!!!!!!!

by Bambino on 7/2/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

Both groups play very well live. If you like either one of these bands they are definitely worth seeing. You will not be disappointed.

  • Just amazing

by Bacholock on 7/2/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I have been to in a while. The Offspring had an amazing performance and the stage effects were awesome.

  • Really only went to see Dropkick

by ABEB on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

Didn't stay for Offspring - we're not fans. We only went for Dropkick Murphys and they were great! Thought the crowd was a little subdued, but whatever... we had fun. Would've liked to see them play a little longer considering it was their last night on tour before heading off to Europe.

  • Offspring is a little past their prime

by Sean on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

The show was good, the venue was good. I did not understand what tickets i bought apparently, there is general admission in a middle section, but no seats in it. Dexter seemed a little slow moving aroudn the stage when he only had a mic, but when he had the guitar it looked mroe natural. The songs all sounded great, for some reason there just seemed to be a small lack of energy, i think it is a lot of people who did not know the back catalog. Dropkick murphys were great, but again 90% of the crowd had not heard anything before blackout.

  • Awesome show!

The Offspring sounded great live! Great showmenship

  • Good show, despite weather.

by CDubb on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

What I caught of the opener was decent, though not my thing really. Dropkick Murphys played some great tunes from their entire catalog (Do or Die right up to Meanest of Times.) The State Of Mass was the highlight of the DKM set for me. I really attended primarily to see DKM, but stayed for some of Offspring. I'm glad I did. The tour is in support of Offspring's new album ("Rise and Fall Rage and Grace" if I remember correctly) so I fully expected to hear alot from that album. I was happily surprised when the second song they played was "Bad Habit", and they continued to pepper in tracks from throughout their catalog. I was not overly impressed by the general seating at CMAC in Canandaigua. The only general seating is on the lawn which is behind all of the normal seating. There really isn't a good pit to be had. What is a punk show without a pit? Also, the lawn in back is on a very steep hill. The whole show, I felt like I could just fall forward and roll down the hill at any moment. The bands were great, but I'd recommend seeing them at another venue. The rain didn't help, though I do realize that the venue can't control the weather. All in all, it was still a very good show.

  • Great show The Offspring

If you are a fan of The Offspring you will love this show....

  • $10 to park..

by Cheapskate on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 3 out of 5

$10 to park! That's bs, and though I really ,really enjoyed the show, I won't drive to CMAC again. Dropkick delivered and was a fast paced hard act to follow, but the Offspring showed why they're a premiere touring band...they entertain as well as perform. Great bands, crappy environment....

  • The Offspring

by Schneitlight on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

The band's performance and energy was incredible - they played a great mix of old and new favorites.

  • The Offspring and Dropkick are amazing

by Tzubake on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

I've always liked Dropkick, but seeing them live was so totally worth it. I couldn't have been happier with their performance especially when they came out for an encore. As for The Offspring, what can I say? I'm a diehard fan and I was completely satisfied. Their stage performance and entertaining qualities surpassed everything I was expecting. Now that I think of it I don't even know what I was expecting from the amazing show I saw last night!

  • Offspring

by originalprankster on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

Opener was great, Dropkick Murphy's ok. (too loud & distorted) Offspring, way better than 5 years ago @ Hamerstien Ballroom. Lots of energy! Great mix of old & new songs. Been a fan for 25years.

  • Offspring

by CuseCutie on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

Dropkick Murphys KILLED it! Offspring was good too, but DKM really gets into the crowd and make it personable. GREAT show.

  • Sweet

by JJBB on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 4 out of 5

I wasn't too excited about Dextar's vocals but the show was still amazing.

  • The Offspring was totally awesome!!!

by CoolMomLu on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was an unbelievable experience!!! They played just about ALL of their hits and had the crowd rockin'! Their special effects were great. Lots of color and each went right along with the appropriate song! We will definitely see them again. They are worth every penny!! The rain didn't stop the crowd from jammin'!!!

  • Offspring Rocks!

by Fudd on 7/1/09Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center - CMAC - CanandaiguaRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first concert we brought our kids to, and it was a great choice! They sang all our favorite songs and made jokes the whole time. It was amazing!

  • Openning Acts were great
