About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • BETTER WITH AGE

by JAIMZ on 7/13/09Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE OFFSPRING SINCE THEY FIRST CAME OUT. I TRIED TO NOT BUILD UP TO MUCH ANTICIPATION SCARED I'D BE LET DOWN. I WAS NOT. IT IS DEFINATELY ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS I HAVE BEEN TO.

The Offspring show was amazing. The band sounded great and they played all of my favorites.

  • The Offspring: Maybe it's time to move on

by Aziz on 7/13/09Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

It was an okay show, but the magic I used to feel going to an Offspring show has faded. Outside of a unique rendition of "Gone Away," the band's usual set-list of familiar hits only going back to Smash was okay, but nothing new. Variation is the key, and I hope the next time the Offspring plays ,we can hear some things that aren't often played. Because "Want You Bad" is not old material.

  • The Offspring was off the hook!

All three bands were absolutely amazing!!!! I would go see them again in a heartbeat! The Pearl is also such a fantastic place to go see concerts. Great acoustics and it seems like it doesn't matter where you end up sitting. Everywhere has such a great view of the stage.

  • every band that day was on point

by smilely on 7/13/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the used the most but every band was amazing. I wish there were more great line ups like this. City Market is a huge venue and the margaritas were sweet!!!!

  • Offspring was well worth it...

    by mdsjhawk83 on 7/13/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Offspring was worth the money by themselves. I didn't make it to all of the bands, but I was NOT impressed by Taking Back Sunday. They weren't exciting to listen to or watch. I enjoy their music most of the time but their performance was a bit boring.

  • Offspring was amazing!!!

I've recently gotten back into listening to offspring. Their newest album is so fun. We were so excited to see they were coming to town & at an outdoor venue to boot. Thanks for the fantastic night!

  • {{{Offspring & Sum 41}}}

  • Offspring take the show!

    by rock90 on 7/13/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The City Market Offspring show was the perfect way to kick off a summer of music. First of all I love the venue with the open air, the city skyline, and room to move (if you want it). It has the vendors and the food for all and then this show had endless music. With Amberlin, The Used, Alkaline Trio, and Taking Back Sunday it could have been a full show. Some people were even satisfied with that. But Oh!!! The Offspring were truly the reason to be there. Dexter was at his best and the whole band were on. After some initial sound issues, which were quickly fixed they did everything an Offspring fan could want. They started out with "Gonna Go Far Kid" which pretty much set the tone for the evening. I particularly loved it when Dexter brought the piano out. It was definitely one of my favorite concerts of recent years!

  • Awesome show!

by Parker on 7/13/09Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena - Sioux CityRating: 4 out of 5

The Offspring was a very solid show. They played all the hits, so there was plenty of opportunity to sing along. They had a lot of energy, it seemed like a non-stop dance party! It was a great event to conclude a holiday weekend. The Tyson Events Center is an awesome place to see a concert! I would definitely recommend this show!
