About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • Offspring Rocks My World

    by firecat1971 on 7/14/09WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring continue to be hardcore and still maintain their fun, good natured manner. The audience was intimate with a wide variety of ages and demographics represented. We were all drawn together for the music and love of the group. I am a single mom in my late 30's who's been a fan for 20+ years and I knew that I belonged. See them when you get a chance

  • Awesome show

by Kstyle on 7/14/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand PrairieRating: 4 out of 5

Offspring was great as always. But as they should have played longer! They have a lot of material we didn't get to hear.

  • The Offspring went off!

by nello on 7/14/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent venue for a terrific band. I had not seen the Offspring for 10+ years so it was a real treat to see them again - esp given the mix of old & new played Would LOVE to see them again soon.

  • Offspring live shows = amazing

by nallyo on 7/14/09WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Offspring is one of the few bands that is able to a whip a crowd of any size into a frenzy. I've seen them at large music festivals (where they claimed 100 crowd surfers - real number wasn't that high, but definitely over 40 in the course of their hour long set) and in smaller settings - they play the same regardless, and everyone gets into the show. Opening acts were very good - Street Dogs (the lead singer was a founding member of Dropkick Murphys) and Alkaline Trio.

  • Offspring amazing....as always!

by TitanR on 7/14/09Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Offspring never disappoints. The perfect mix of incredible music and a sense of humor. The only negative is they don't play more venues in northern California.

  • I had a blast!

I have been a HUGE fan of The Offspring for 15+ yrs and they always put on a great show.. I appreciate a band that puts their heart into a performance and it shows that they enjoy permorming for their fans!!

  • The Offspring still have it!

by Broc on 7/14/09WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

The Offspring quelled anyone who may have thought that they were "washed up" with this great show at WaMu Theater. The small venue provided a great atmosphere for enjoying one of my favorite childhood bands. Having never seen them before in concert, I was impressed at how good they sounded as a live band. They had a great mix of old and new songs, and there was no feeling of "oh, I really wish they had played ______!" They are not only great musicians but wonderful entertainers. I hope they come to town soon again!

  • Offspring still great

by davideo on 7/14/09WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

An outstanding performance all around. I've seen them 5 or 6 times over the years and they are still rockin' out!! They put on a really upbeat show and a month later I'm still feeling the energy. Always a good time at an Offspring show!

  • Offspring still rockin!

    by Caligirl125 on 7/14/09WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I saw the Offspring at the Wamu Theater on June 9th. I wasn't sure what to expect live. I mean, these guys are getting older (but then so am I!). But man, was I blown away. Dexter and family rocked my world! The energy was insane. The sound was perfect. The show was just amazing. They played for almost 2 hours and it was a non-stop party. I was super impressed. This show made me feel like a teenager again. If you have chance to see Offspring live, DO NOT PASS IT UP! You won't be disappointed.

  • Offspring was fansatstic!!!

  • All about The Offspring

by Rijid on 7/14/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The show was awesome, but every band before The Offspring was just ok, and I love all the other bands that were there. But The Offspring.. man, they got everybody into it without even trying. My only complaint is that it took like an hour for the Offspring to come on.

  • Great lineup at a great venue

by ClarkisDark on 7/13/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing lineup, offspring and taking back sunday were unforgettable, I've never seen a bad show at City Market.

  • The Offspring were off the wall!!

by mqsatrsa on 7/13/09Tsongas Arena - LowellRating: 5 out of 5

The show got started with an artist I'd never heard of before but he was a good warm-up. Then Sum 41 hit the stage and really got things rocking. It was great that they threw a number of guitar picks into the audience and picked some people to go on stage with them. Then after a brief intermission The Offspriing came out and greeted the audience and after a few "mass" jokes got down to business. They played all their hits and they played with real energy. Fans got to help pick songs in the set list by texting the band. Great way to make us feel like a part of the show. The graphics were fun. The venue was small and it felt more like going to a club than an arena, For me the show was over too soon,

  • Offspring was off the hook:)

by EnglishRose on 7/13/09Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

There was so much energy and interplay with the crowd that it lived up too all expectations and surpassed that of my husband who had already seen them. We both left inflated and with raspy voices as new songs mingled with many crowd pleasers

  • Offspring was Amazing

    by 9Nate9 on 7/13/09City Market - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I bought this ticket knowing I was going to see Offspring, but a week or so later I realized that Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Alkaline Trio, and Anberlin were going to be there. I was so pumped! The show was unforgettable and The Offspring blew my mind. I even snuck backstage and got a picture with Noodles. I recommend that everyone see The Offspring at least once in their lifetime!

  • Band yes...crowd not so much

by Slybowski on 7/13/09Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Luckily I can afford actual seats and thank god I can. I am giving 4 stars to the band...0 stars for the venue and the crowd on the floor. Look...mosh pits had 15 minutes of fame and isn't enough enough. People can't enjoy the show when these douchebags are pushing and slamming and shoving and hitting and kicking and elbowing and a hundred other things. Why do venues and promoters allow it??? It's dangerous and it doesn't let a person with a "floor" ticket enjoy the music. It was bad and I feel bad for the people caught in it.

  • two trips to vegas

by boss2 on 7/13/09Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I allready had tckets for nin/ja when the offspring announced thier tour. I'd been waiting for about 4 years for them to tour, and they did'nt disappoint. I'd drive another 1200 miles round trip to see em again..
