Great show by The Offspring! DropKick was also great and will be back for a free show in St. Paul soon!
I've gone to many concerts and listened to many bands... I've listened to offspring for years! I absolutely love them!! And, I must say, after all these years they still ROCK!! They played a great set & Dexter's voice kicked ass the whole show all the way through to the very end - he can belt it out like always... anyone considering going to a show - don't even hesitate - you will not be disappointed by seeing the Offspring live!!!!!!
The City Market is a great place to go to a concert and Offspring, is awesome. The crowd was great, lots of fun. only wish Offspring would have played more of there old songs.
The entire show was completely mind-blowing. Each act complimented the next perfectly, and by the time that the Offspring took the stage, the crowd was extremely intense. The mosh was fun, particularly during the song "Bad Habit". But even though the crowd was intense, they weren't rude. If you fell down, they'd help you up. The band sounded great, and Dexter and Noodles were HILARIOUS. I would definitely recommend an Offspring show to anyone.
This was a pretty great show. These guys put a lot of energy into it. I'm not sure why the Columbus crowds are always so tough no matter who plays but The Offspring got them up and movin!
Dropkick Murphys were amazing! great show! the Offspring were good also but it's hard to follow the Murphys.
Show was the money. Got wasted in the beer/liquor garden and hit the mosh pit. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Great setlist too....
The opening act, which I don't remember the name of was pretty mediocre. Then the Dropkick Murphys came on. They were fantastic. Then came The Offspring. They were amazing. They played every song I wanted to hear. We found some seats in the back of the venue right next to the mixing board when we got there so we didn't have to stand the entire time. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better concert experience for what I paid.
Yeah the Pearl at the Palms is quite the venue. It has the large venue feel to it, but then again, that was the most intimate place I've ever seen the Offspring play. The pit seemed to be the right size even though I think it could have been bigger, and the Offspring managed to fill almost every seat. Street Dogs and Alkaline Trio opened, a very odd pair to open for the Offspring, but then again, the majority in attendance didn't care too much for them anyway. When the Offspring came on, it was a good hour and a half of even better punk rock.
The Offspring rocked the crowd hard all night long. Crowd was feeding off all the energy for about 2 hrs!! so glad i got to see my favorite band live. The Offspring blew my mind and exceeded my expectations
Great band playing great tunes! This is the third time I have seen them in concert and I would go again. I just wish they would have played longer and kept the fun going later into the night.
The Offspring were awsome. I would definitely go see them again.
I've been waiting for a few years to see the Offspring...it was well worth the wait!!!
I really enjoyed the Dropkick Murphy's as a warm up band. They play with a lot of energy and emotion. I saw the offspring at Roy Wilkins in 2000 or so. They played with Cypress hill and the whole venue was filled with pot smoke..I was a bit worried about my two preteen sons getting a contact high. This time, there was very little of that or at least far less.the result of our new politically correct Minnesota. I was happy that they played "Come Out and Play" and "Bad Habit" so early on in the show. It pumped us up for the onslaught of songs that was to come. I like their old stuff, new stuff and all the songs in between. All in all, a wonderful show.
A great show, Dropkicks started it off right and the Offsping played hit after hit.
This was part of a Buzz 96.5 concert series with many bands. The "opening" acts were sorely boring and all sounded the same. The Offspring came on last, but did quite well. It would have been a great show with one opening act. The price was right and we enjoyed the day. The venue gets a little tiring, with few places to sit and rest on a hot summer day/evening. Got to hear almost all of the best that the Offspring has done and will recommend seeing them to anyone.
I was feeling a little ambivalent about seeing this show, but thought it could be fun. Fun does not cover it! It was the most fun show I've seen this summer. They did so many of their classics - though there could always have been more. My only complaint is that there was too big of a break between the 2nd opener and The Offspring. I started to think it wasn't such a good idea to be out on a work night. But they blew me away with the energy and the non stop action. I would definitely see them again!
Their set was Epic. Loved all their New Stuff and Old School. ******************************************************************
The concert was amazing, the security at Roy Wilkins was nice as hell. The performance was killer (not to mention Dropkick Murphys was UNFORGETTABLE) To be compeletly honest, D.M put on a better show than Offspring did, but none the less, they both were amazing. Offspring was just as awesome as they were 10 years ago.
Offsprings' show in Minneapolis was great, they did lots of songs from all their albums which thrilled those of us who've been fans for a long time. As always they performed with vigor and enthusiasm, awesome show!
