THE O'JAYS IN CONCERT:
When it comes to classy, color-coordinated, old-school soul showmanship, nobody can touch the O'Jays. Taking the stage in matching suits to perform beloved classics from their decade-spanning catalog, the debonair trio never fails to transport audiences back to the good old days of "Love Train" and "For the Love of Money." Hot off the heels of their 2013 induction into the R&B Music Hall of Fame, the O'Jays will treat fans to several highly anticipated appearances in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Ohio in 1958, The O'Jays experienced moderate success throughout the '60s with a string of minor hits like "Lonely Drifter" and "Lipstick Traces." On the verge of calling it quits in the early '70s, the band finally got their big break after signing to Philadelphia International for their platinum-selling 1972 single "Back Stabbers." The song established them as a key player in the Philadelphia soul movement, a funk-infused brand of soul that pioneered many of the elements later adopted by disco. A string of hits would follow throughout the '70s, including epochal No. 1 smash "Love Train," creating a legacy the band continues to honor today with their spirited performances on tour.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"They sounded great and put on a really great show. They sang all of their popular songs, ending with For the Love of Money...which brought the house down. Everyone was on their feet, dancing and singing and really enjoying the show."
"This was a great show. They performed their old-school moves and wore matching outfits, something you don't see with ‘newer’ performers."
"The show was awesome. The O'Jays took me down memory lane and back. The show was attended by ages 20-80 and all had a great time."

Great music. These are the O'Jays! So happy to see Eddie Levert I will miss seeing them when they retire. O'Jays are simply the best. Thank you for a lifetime of fabulous music. Thank you MGM for bringing them home one more time!
The show could have been a little longer 100$ for a hour n 20 minutes Wasn’t worth my money
Too short of a concert, Too expensive need discount for next upcoming concert
I grew up in Canton, Ohio, went to the same high school as the original O'Jays and have always been a fan! Every opportunity to see them locally or whereever I am, I have done so overe the years. This performance was amazing. Eddie still has the raspy, sexy voice and Walter still has that smooth talking sexy voice. Yes, they are oldere, I have agd right along with them and it is wonderful to know that they have done so gracefully and truthfully. I loved every moment and did not want any of it to stop. Go see them as they are, right now, they are true, they arereal, they've still got it! The audience was great, the venue was great, the lighrting, sound, everything was great. Yes, sad becuse everything comes to an end but this was a rejoyceful, uplifting, amazing celebration of the timeless O'Jays.
They don’t make guys like this anymore! The show was Awesome and their band was phenomenal!!! ❤️
I was so glad that I attended this show, the O'jays are true entertainers. The show started with the song a family reunion. Eddie was awesome! He truly showed out from sitting on a chair. His feet didn't miss a beat. Walter and William were also fantastic. If you get a chance to see this show run don't walk it was really a treat!! What a way to end an era THANK YOU OJAYS
After 4 years of health issues, Eddie Levert was able to sing his heart out again. He and Walter are 81 and 82 years old; and still can hold an audience in their hands. Thankful that I got to experience singing legends.
The show was absolutely amazing! 💯 It was a blessing to see Eddie give it his all on that stage in spite of his hardships, and to learn that he and Walt have been together since the age of 7 was mind blowing! And of course the "Baby of the bunch"Eric Nolan did his Thang as always! I wouldn't have missed this show for anything!
Me and my Wife enjoy joyed every minute of show, the only thing I notice that needed improvement was the bars was overloaded. You had over 20 PPL in line. Oh yes the line to get in was long but it moved at a steady pace good job.
I love the Ojays! Always a great show! I never want it to end. I'll be looking for the next closest venue. I was at the Vegas show front and center. I will forever love Eddie, Walter, and Eric!
They put on an excellent show even without MR. EDDIE not moving too much, and I do understand his situation. He was still on point!! Very talented men and they can sing and dance!! They have been my favorites for over 50 years. We really enjoyed the show! (Las Vegas)
Me and my Husband had a fabulous time at the O Jays concert.
With Eddie being 81 and Walter being 80, the concert was awesome. I knew this would be the last time I would see them in person. I thank God for this opportunity to witness such an iconic group.
Had a great time at the show brought back many memories. Lots of love songs just a great overall experience..
The O’Jays still have the pipes. Although they have physically had some health challenges, their voices and entertainment abilities are stellar. They sang all the favorites and the show was amazing!
I was o impressed with the concert! The O'Jays did a fantastic job! The seating is way too tight. I also hated standing in the long lines to get in the theater!!!
