About
When several hit TV programs like The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy featured the Naked and Famous’ catchy-as-heck music, the buzz surrounding this New Zealand indie rock outfit became uncontainable, spreading to Great Britain, Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Fans couldn’t get enough of the anthemic, synthpop gems “Punching in a Dream,” “Young Blood,” “Girls Like You” and “Hearts Like Ours,” creating demand for Naked & Famous tickets around the globe. Critics and fans alike have praised their flawless live shows that conjure a mood both dreamy and danceable, reminiscent of acts like The Killers, MGMT, Passion Pit, and, at times, containing hints of Björk and Kid A-era Radiohead. Alisa Xyalith and Thom Powers vocals blend in harmonic perfection over moderate tempo synth beats, belting out highly melodic, bittersweet tunes that are an odd blend of melancholy and exuberant. No wonder that fan devotion is off the charts, making The Naked & Famous concert tickets valuable commodities indeed.

by BTLR on 12/3/16Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandThe entire show they kept flashing bright lights from the stage that made it very hard trying to look straight ahead. Gave me a major headache.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Puts on a great show
by AsiaT on 11/15/16Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkTNAF puts on yet another great show! This is the second time I've been to their show. First was for the tour kicking off Rolling waves. Before the show, i was a bit nervous because I liked the new album but didn't "love" it. But they put on an amazing show, it was upbeat, the set list was put together with thoughts, and the crowd was with in the whole time even with the new music. I love going to live shows because it completely changes the album. Sooooo good. Great performers! Go see them!

by Eaars on 11/15/16Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New Yorkthis group is one of my favorites! They really sound great live and have a great show. Great mixture of thier best songs and had some surprise arrangements that were a welcome addition to some of the older songs. They will make you a fan if you aren't already!
Rating: 3 out of 5 Beautiful lighting and a miscalibrated sound
by DougB2B on 11/15/16Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkThe show could be amazing if the sound technicians knew what they were doing. The sound was terrible, vocals too high and no guitar. A complete shame!

by Allybird21 on 11/15/16Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkThe Naked and Famous never disappoints- they played a great mix of old an new songs and the venue was great! Their music sounded amazing in the ballroom.
Rating: 5 out of 5by DClaytonQ on 11/15/16Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New York The Naked and Famous are always amazing live. This is my 3rd show, and I fall in love every time! They played Rotten from the new album for the encore but changed a bit. Usually I do not like it when bands changes songs, but this version was absolutely ethereal. Fantastic job.
Rating: 3 out of 5 Back up bands on too long
by mamanewsh on 11/15/16Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkFirst band and Naked and Famous were great. Should have eliminated XYLO from their tour. Hammerstein is great but if you are standing four plus hours is way too long.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Back after 3 years...and they did not disappoint!!
by Mo0411 on 4/12/16Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynI must say, I consider myself one of TNAF's biggest fans. Their music was undoubtedly the turning point in my conversion from mainstream to alternative rock music. This is my third time seeing them live, and I really cannot overstate how awesome this show was. The choice of venue was fantastic: Music Hall of Williamsburg is tiny, which is amazing, since it only provides enough space for true fans in a rather intimate setting (with reasonable alcohol prices too!) The opening band, The Rubens, were one of the best opening bands I have ever seen. They acknowledged their obscurity but boy, were they fantastic! They had the energy and enthusiasm to keep the crowd engaged right up till TNAF took the stage! And that's when the magic began! Most of the music was familiar to fans, from Passive me, aggressive you and In rolling waves. They also played a new song and put a cool spin some classics. Crowd engagement was fantastic; the rain outside didn't dampen the spirits of the fans inside! Most songs had the whole floor shaking. In short, it was a rainy Monday night..there was any reason to not go..but I am SO happy I went and can not wait for TNAF to being another tour! Kudos to The Rubens also, and best of luck to them getting themselves out there!
Rating: 5 out of 5 it was my first time seeing naked and famous great
by Danny2669 on 4/8/16The Sinclair - Cambridgeit was my first time seeing Naked and the Famous and going to the sinclair in cambridge not a bad place and venue to see a show a little smaller than House of Blues because I was a first timer and newcomer to the Naked and Famous chose to see the show from one of the mezzazines had a perfect view for once no peoples heads getting in my way I also met someone at the show we hung out together nice person the floor and the house belonged to the college students and fans who were younger they owned that house I was a guest meaning never having seen Naked and Famous thats also why I didn't choose to stand on the GA floor when i've seen this group after a while than I'll become one of them I would go see them again and also recommend anyone I know seeing one of their shows I'd also go see another show at that venue thats my first Naked and Famous show review

Rating: 5 out of 5 Killed it
by PickTen on 4/8/16The Sinclair - CambridgeThe Naked and Famous killed it. Great energy and great crowd. The Sinclair remains my favorite venue in Cambostonville. Could have done without the opening act, The Rubens. Didn't fit well, and just didn't like them.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Meh
by sandybox on 6/11/14The National - RichmondOpening bands had trouble getting people going. The Naked and Famous were into the music. I am not sure if it was the sound guy but their sound was not as crisp. I have heard plenty of bands at the national and never had trouble with over reverb. That is the most deaf I have ever left a concert and I don't mind loud music. The lights were very cool. The strobe was blinding the front row.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Alisa Xayalith has the most amazing voice
