Nothing like good ole "lip syncing"!!! But for price good entertainment
These guys always put on a good show. Not a fan of the L'Auberge venue. Too many people shoved in a small area. The music was LOUD. I like my music turned up, but geez. I mean really, really loud. Be aware of that before you see a concert here. My ears rang for 2 days. This is the first time I saw Dickie as George Michael instead of Pee Wee Herman. I liked the old character much better. It seemed as if he wasn't having a good time looking all serious and the glasses took away from his performance. Hopefully this was a short time change so he could grow a beard for Christmas or something. I liked watching the show at The Varsity much better. More room and it the sound was better. People were pushing their way past you towards the front and that was distracting. No security to be seen. That doesn't happen at the bigger Varsity venue. It was nice, however, to warm up in the casino. That was the best thing about seeing the concert here. Tried to go afterwards as well, but could not find an open table. All and all I think these guys are great and I will see them many more times in the future.
What a great show. Great band, great song choices and a really fun night. Highly recommend seeing them. Hope they come back to Ft. Lauderdale in the future.
The band was great, really enjoyed the show. My wife got me tickets for my birthday. Great time...
The Molly Ringwalds were awesome! The atmosphere and venue were perfect. Had a terrific time!
The Molly Ringwalds were awesome live. Any fan of the 80s will enjoy this.
I have seen the Molly Ringwalds many times at the House of Blues in Houston. Unlike the past, I was disappointed that they started an hour late and they forgot the words to several songs. Wasn't their best performance.
We were on vacation in Myrtle Beach and decided to see them in concert. We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed the concert! It was great to watch all the band members switch instruments and take turns singing. The crowd was really into it and we were hoarse from singing along. I highly recommend then and hope they play somewhere closer to my home so that we could bring a whole group of friends to see them.
First time seeing The Molly Ringwalds. Great Band. They look like they are having fun while they are on stage and it is contagious! If you like 80s music, they do a great job with it.
The Molly Ringwalds rocked the joint! Wish they could have played all night. I can't believe how talented all the member were and how each of them could sing and play different instruments.
This was my first time seeing The Molly Ringwalds and I would love to see them again. Classic and non stop 80's music by talented guys....what more can I say. They put on a bit of a performance in addition to singing great songs! Energy stayed up and it was a fun night!
The concert said it would start at 9PM but it really started at 10PM. They still went 2.5 hours, but hey, one can always enjoy 3.5 hours of the 80s. I knew all the songs but one. They did a lot of big group hits along with some one hit wonders. For having no girls in a band called Molly Ringwalds, I'm not sure how they got the sound of the girl songs other than maybe a little lip syncing or some kind of voodoo. I was hoping for some Duran Duran or maybe the Police or Motley Crue, but I guess not this night; however, I did find it ironic that they dressed up like Devo and Twisted Sister but did not do their songs. Overall, if you love the 80s it's fun to sing and party with friends to the Molly Ringwalds.
I go see them as often as I can. Always put on a great show!
It was a Very nice pool party concert. Venue was great everyone had a good time
These guys are great. I love the costumes and they totally channeled the music from the era. Crowd was great too. The band includes them in the performance with plenty of singalongs, of which we about covered all by ourselves.
If you grew up in the 80's, this is the show for you! Great music (AD/DC, Journey, Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses + many more), great costumes & great fun!!!! Took me back to my teenage years!!!
I paid may money to see the Molly Ringwalds, not some to watch some DJ play 80's music for an hour. Once the Ringwalds actually came out, it was ok. However, I would never pay to go see them again if this is how they normally run a concert
We love The Molly Ringwalds and they put on a great show, as always! However, our group was frustrated that they came on more than an hour late for an already-late (9:00) show. We had to leave early because of the time.
A fake DJ played at least 45 minutes before the band came on. Seriously, a woman was acting like she was DJing while it was very clear it was just piped in music. And it was also quite clear the reason why was because it was not a sellout and they were milking the crowd to buy more drinks and hoping more people show up. Sure, I know the band is a cover band (and a very good one at that), but I'd rather go hear Skyrocket, which is a group of musicians who got together to be a cover band and make a living than a corporate group The Molly Ringwalds. The fake DJ was a HUGE turnoff!
The Molly Ringwalds never disappoint. They played an exciting NYE concert that kept the crowd entertained with great songs and videos. Can't wait to see them again!
