The Mavericks Tickets

They were better than ever....why did they ever split up!

Good songs, great music. But has anyone of the average age group in the audience checked the sound level? I have never been to a concert where the steel guitar actually hurt my ears, and the ringing in our ears lasted the entire 2.5 hour drive back home. Why ruin such great music, and good vocals with over-reverb, and sound so loud it is literally deafening. I'm not an old foggy, but this was too much.

An amazing experiance and a perfect venue. A small theater; not a bad seat in the house. Third row and three encores. We danced the night away. Music that moves you. We are so glad the band got back together. Some real talent ...and a band that loves their God given talent.

Not because the Uptown is one of my favorite venues but because the reuniting of the Mavericks produced a high energy rocking good time. They played for over 2 hours wirh what seemed like a ukulele encore but was rhe start of the 2nd half of the show.. Loved it and all their music!

Shame on the sound man and on the venue. Raul Malo has one of the most beautiful voices in the world, but the amplication was so loud and the reverb so intense that the audience (at least the people around me in the left front orchestra) couldn't tell. This was like putting salsa on a prime steak or buying a single malt scotch and mixing it with pepsi. Even with earplugs, I struggled to get through the concert, and I eventually left early. Even the "quiet" numbers, with Raul singing alone and playing his ukelele, were far too loud. I will never return to this venue.

This was the BEST concert I've ever seen. I cannot believe how much ENERGY and enthusiasm and raw, pure talent these guys have. Raul Malo's voice is a gift from heaven! He channels Roy Orbison like no one else, but has his own soulful, Latin, TexMex, zydeko, you name it voice that it's unbelievable! I've seen hundreds of concerts over the yeas, but The Mavericks rock like no other band I've ever seen. DON"T MISS THEM!

great evening Of entertainment. from the opening song to the unforgettable closing of " all you ever do is bring me down". I thought RAuls voice was a little offat the start , but the longer he sang the better he was. great band , this was more of a party than concert. Tight instrumentals , great band sound. it is a disservice to label them a country western band. hey play salsa , mariachi , country , rock ,Telmex and more. already planning to see them whenever they are nearby.

Great seats, 20 ft from stage. Nice small venue! Raul still has the voice and the group is still full of energy. Highlight of my summer!! Best musical group around!!

The Mavericks were Great! SO glad I got to see them. They were having a BALL up there. Which made it all the more fun to watch.... Come back SOON!!!!

Raul Malo was at his best and so great to see him back with the Mavericks.

What a show The Mavericks put on! Fantastic!! The crowd was out of their seats dancing and singing. We had a great time. The Uptown Theater was really. We were in the 5th row so we could see everything up close, even the lead guitarist's cool sparkly boots. Hope they come back.

What a talented group of musicians. They played like they had never been apart. They're very humble and repeatedly thanked the audience for supporting them. Unfortunately the sound system at times seemed too overwhelming for the small venue. Their great voices were often obscured by the many instruments they play. But we would go again in a minute. It was a totally enjoyable evening!

A really great 2 hour show, had new stuff and all the great old stuff.

Raul Malo couldn't hit a bad note if he tried, lol. The 8 piece band was tight & in the grove from beginning to end - & they played an encore nearly as long as the set! The fans went wild!
