Great show. The whole experience was great. Up close and personal
Good concert, very enjoyable. Wish there were assigned seating.
Saw them at the Delmar Lounge in St. Louis. They were awesome. I was really impressed with Marc Ford on guitar. He and Rich Robinson together combine to equal much more than their individual parts. The rhythm section was solid and held everything together. Loved the song selection - highlight for me was the cover of Blind Faith’s, “Had to Cry Today”. If you have the chance to to see them don’t miss it.
Just fantastic. My first Magpie show and they did not disappoint! This is a BAND! Even with John being a little under the weather they brought their A-game. Everyone on that stage is a star in their own right. Highly recommend and hope to see them again soon.
The band gets five stars; they were fabulous. The venue gets three, only because of the seating arrangement. Photos online implied a theater-like setup, not a nightclub setup. Not my personal preference. It lent itself to a lot of floor traffic back and forth to the bar, and it was a distraction from the band. Otherwise, good show.
Great show. Intimate setting. It was really warm in there... too warm. But Magpie was great
Had a blast with this wonderful band. Hard riffs by Rich, melodic guitars by Marc, soulful singing by John. I don't want to miss these guys whenever I have a chance to see them.
TIP: If you are required to buy $25 minimum, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY FOOD! You can just get drinks or an appetizer. The $20 Shrimp Cocktail was very disappointing. Magpie Salute was amazing!
If you’re looking for rock and roll, look no further than The Magpie Salute!
Great band, great room, great show... slightly less great sound, but liveable
I knew it was going to be an excellent show but to my surprise it turned out to be most excellent. Super musicianship !!
The sound was horrible due to distortion from either the volume or the size of the place. I have never seen an audience move back before when a band started.
An amazing band! :) So good, great singer, great background vocals, great guitarists, great bass player, great drummer. Great jams!!!
Well, the band was great. I've heard them before and was excited to attend this show, but the sound! OMG, it was awful. Nothing but a way too loud cacophony of reverb and compression. I had to spend the show in the lobby area. I am no stranger to loud music. This was ridiculous and painful. The sound guy looked like he was trying to improve it, but his ears must be shot. The sound pressure was so intense you could barely tell what song the band was playing. I feel sure the band had no idea what was going on with the FOH mix.
Marc Ford. Rich Robinson. Buy the ticket now! Go! .
The whole band was amazing. The guitar duo of Rich Robinson and Marc Ford was on fire. Highly recommended for fans of bluesy rock. Powerful vocals too.
Great show...we had never seen them before...as Magpie Salute. Many of the same band members from The Black Crowes but very different...awesome
Amazing show at a amazing venue. Magpie salute has a couple future hall of famers. Hampton casino one of my favorite venues. Intimate with great acoustics.
Fantastic show at an intimate, comfortable venue. Salute the Magpies!
There is simply no one else in the game who is doing it better right now.
