  • An amazing experience!

I loved seeing The Lovin’ Spoonful at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks. There was not a bad seat in the house! The band put on a great show! Took me back to “the good old days” of my youth! Such talented musicians and showmen!

An amazing show. These men are so talented, have great personalities, meshed so good together. Great voices and song choices. Loved the history of each performer and the transitioning of it into a song. Best concert that I have been to in a while. Thanks for a memorable night!

  • A great show

This was a very enjoyable evening. It was a Loving Spoonful greatest hits show, and all members of the band were great musicians and singers. The Scheer forum is a really good venue, sound was powerful with excellent sight lines wherever you sit. Stories and background pictures added to the experience. Definitely a five star show!

  • Uplifting, joyful, happy

by Rainey Mac on 11/10/25Scherr Forum- B of A Performing Arts Center, Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

The songs are joyful, happy and uplifting, but the band also pulled in the audience with sing-alongs and telling stories in between the songs. Each musician on its own has a long history of professional musical accomplishments. I was very impressed with the production.

  • They Are Terrific!

by Ruth on 2/24/25Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - AventuraRating: 5 out of 5

You already know that John Sebastian is no longer with the Lovin' Spoonful. But this combination of originals and other music veterans does a terrific show! Jeff Alan Ross used to be with Badfinger. He's Peter Asher's music director and performs with him when Peter's show is on the road. They co-produce Peter's SiriusXM show on The Beatles channel. Jeff's a great singer and very versatile musician playing keyboards and guitar. Bill Cinque is a left-handed bass player (and sometimes other instruments) who also has a lead singer voice. He's also really funny. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his autobiography "The Amazing Adventures of a Marginally Successful Musician". We got to know Jeff and Bill on Star Vista's Flower Power and Rock and Romance cruises which we've been doing since the beginning. When we saw that they were going to be at a venue near us, we couldn't wait. We weren't disappointed. Neither will you be!

I am a big fan of 60s music, and The Lovin’ Spoonful were a big part of the 60s. I really enjoyed this incarnation of the group especially Jeffrey Alan Ross and Bill Cinque.

  • The Lovin’ Spoonful. Up close

by Awesome show on 1/27/25The Showroom at the Golden Nugget - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The Golden Nugget Showroom, great show, comfy seats. Not to large a venue, will definitely return for other shows. The Lovin’ Spoonful did a wonderful job bringing back all those memories from so long ago..

The story telling, professionalism and respect for the music and songs by the band and the added members made for a very enjoyable night not soon forgotten.
