It was such a joy to see four black men honor God with their talents and gifts.
This concert was awesome! I praised, worshipped, sung, cried and laughed! It was a worship celebration! The only thing I would have changed was the venue. The only giant screen was behind the stage, so if you weren't sitting in the first few rows, you felt far away.
I've never been to a concert like this one before, it was church. All four artists appeared together at various times and sang background for one another. Kirk, then Israel, Donnie and Marvin, they came out one after another. The Holy Spirit filled the air, we were all blessed by the experience. I would like to go again and buy the concert on DVD!
An awesome show!!!! The best performance I have seen in a long time. It made my week a good week.
Treated two guests to this concert. My absolute favorite performer is Donnie McClurkin. My guests' favorite is Israel Houghton.
The King's Men concert was a PHENOMENAL event! I am so glad it took place at the Barclay center. There needs to be a second part.
enjoyed the show. energy was contagious. sound level was a little loud at times
It was an uplifting worship experience not concert!!!
I'm not one to go to many concerts, and I was not sure what to expect when attending the King's Men. Though I enjoy the music of all the performs, I really only went because my friends wanted to go. With that said, I'm so glad I went. These artists are among my favorites. I know that one can always count on a good performance when seeing Kirk Franklin, and it was. But I was also blown away by Marvin Sapp, Israel Houghton, and especially Donnie McClurkin! He was soooo good, as they all were! This concert will not disappoint!
Absolutely wonderful evening! God was glorified in the Barclay Center! What a blessing!
We sang! We danced! We praised the lord. We showed that we did not have to be in the church to have church. Unfortunately, New York was the last stop on the king's men tour. Otherwise, I would see the king's men again. God bless you!
This was my first gospel concert. All I can say is that this was by far the best concert experience I have ever had, I was on my feet the entire 4 hours. This was just a musical concert, but we ended up having CHURCH. God was truly in that space and I can not wait for them to go on tour again!!!
My friends and I were blessed beyond measures by the Kings of Gospel (as Donnie calls it). Can't wait for the second tour. I'll be there again...in my shouting shoes!
Well produced. High energy. A little overly loud and few sound difficulties, but an amazing show.
The show was a blessing to my life.I recommend this show to everyone.
What a phenomenal & unforgettable concert!! Entertaining & uplifting!! On October 14, 2012, The Barclays Center was transformed into The Barclays Cathedral of Christ - with 11,000 enthusiastic members!!! If I had a complaint, it would be a technical one; the sound went out for a couple of minutes just after the headliners got onstage to perform their first song together. But after that glitch was worked out, the sound was fine. Secondly, I believe the audience (congregation, lol) would've benefitted from the use of two or three large strategically-placed screens to make it easier for everyone to see the stage; especially if your seat is beyond the half-way point in the arena. Other than those 2 minor things, it was an amazing & history-making night of Gospel music!!! An absolute blessing!!!
The concert was awesome. The video clip was hilarious. The starting time was a little late for a weeknight...8PM. With the warm up activities, the show didn't start till well after 8:30. I enjoyed the live entertainment rather that the music videos shown. Could of done without them. We ended up leaving early ... around 11:45 because he had an hour drive home so starting earlier, or cutting out the music video would of helped.
The Holy Spirit was in the Barclay Center. The Kingsmen was outstanding. I was thanking God all the way back on the subway home. This was the concert of the year. Prayers for all those who was involve to bring this awesome show together. To God be the Glory!
The concert was wonderful. The performances were off the hook. I just loved how everyone was worshiping. 11,000 people(wow) there for one reason, to worship for the King.
