About

The Killers are a Las Vegas quartet who formed in 2001. Featuring the long-running lineup of frontman Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci, Jr., The Killers have released seven studio albums. Their 2004 debut Hot Fuss contains their diamond-certified lead single “Mr. Brightside” and platinum singles “Somebody Told Me” and “All These Things That I’ve Done,” and the band has had 11 singles chart on the Hot 100. Across two decades of recording together, the four-piece have sold over 28 million albums worldwide and topped the Billboard 200 (with 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful). The band hit No. 1 Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart for the first time with “When You Were Young” from 2006’s Sam’s Town, and they would return to the top spot for later singles “Caution” from 2020’s Imploding the Mirage and “Boy” from the 2023 compilation Rebel Diamonds.

    Better and better!!

by Verny57 on 10/1/23Hard Rock Live Sacramento - Wheatland

Over the last 13 years, I have seen the Killers three times! They were incredible and their energy was amazing. I couldn't believe how they kept the energy level extremly high the entire show. All the major hits and favorites were played and they added unique spins on them. As much as they rocked out... they never seemed out of breath! The sound, energy, songs, and venue were world class. Can't wait to see them again!

    Awesome venue! Awesome band!

    by John on 10/1/23

The Hard Rock Cafe Casino in Wheatland was the perfect place to see The Killers. The band is fantastic and Brandon is an amazing showman. We had general admission tickets and were extremely close to the stage due to the small size of the venue. I think it holds around 2500 to 3000 people. I’m definitely going to see another concert at this venue. You don’t have to worry about lining up outside hours ahead of time because everybody is relatively close to the stage!

    Not fun

by Austarasta on 9/30/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

The Killers had a great show but it was hard to enjoy. I had a general admission ticket and enjoy moving around. This is the freedom of general admission. The amount of people with stubborn, angry demeanors was astounding at this show. The ‘standing ground with elbows out’ attitude is not very welcoming or fun when trying to dance and have a good time. This was my first and last Killers show.

    Great show

by Jes on 9/30/23Hard Rock Live Sacramento - Wheatland

I’d been waiting for years to see the Killers…they did not disappoint. The venue was clean and orderly. I was on the floor and it was an amazing vantage point. High energy.

    The Killers never fail

by Missy on 9/25/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

The Killers never fail to put on an amazing performance. The venue was perfect for a small venue. The GA area was a bit small, but to be expected. Acoustics were good for the show.

Great show - weird opening act

by geodan06 on 9/25/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

The Killers put on a great show, as always, but having a country music opening act - Joshua Walker Jones (?) - was kind of weird. Usually the opening act has similar music style as the main band so I found this to be very strange opening act. Also, the bands instruments overpowered the Brandon's vocals which made it difficlut to hear at times. I thinks its the acoustics at the GSR but I would think the sounfd engineer could have done a better job. Anyway, still a great show - Brandon is such a showman!

THE KILLERS - ALWAYS A GREAT UNIQUE PERFORMANCE

by Rowdy Judy on 9/24/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

I saw both shows in Reno, my 10th and 11th time seeing THE KILLERS live. It's always a great concert, entertaining with everyone up dancing and singing to every song. Brandon Flowers is one of the best on stage and doesn't stop for a second. This venue didn't have the best sound, but the concert was great. Two different nights, two different set lists. Of course they sang all their top hits and both nights threw in a few they haven't played in awhile, which was a nice treat. The stage was a lot smaller than they usually play on, but they used two large video screens and everyone had a great time - both nights (Monday and Tuesday). My favorite band continues to impress, and Brandon Flowers is the best!

    The Killers were Killer!

by RW on 9/23/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Loved having this Las Vegas band in Northern Nevada! What a great show!! They rocked our Tuesday night with 21 songs that did not disappoint. Some old, some new and everything in between...the band was GREAT! The venue is always the best in Reno! Free parking, friendly staff, easy to get a drink and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Hope to see The Killers again next year in Reno! Thanks for the memories!

The killers have the best, most entertaining, energetic Rock show going at the moment. The songs are amazing The crowd is second to none. Bring your friends, bring your kids. This band is a joy to watch.

    Best live performance

by NV Shells on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

The Killers are the best live band I have ever seen. All the members are at the top of their game and Brandon Flowers connects with the audience better than any front person I have ever seen. I saw them at T-Mobile in Las Vegas and at GSR in Reno. One venue is super big and the second one is super small. They do an equally great show in either tailoring the sound, effects and visuals to fit the venue.

    "Killer"performance, disappointing stage

by Stephen Roberson on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

First, what really matters: The performance was off-the-hook! High energy, great sound, great setlist. It was the first time I saw The Killers, and it won't be my last. In fact, I'm thinking about catching the Sacramento show on Wednesday. Now, the downside: The stage setup was the worst I've seen in a long time. There's way too much going on up front obscuring the performers. There's a camera on a track that's constantly moving back-and-forth in front of the performers; there's a 2-3 foot platform on the front edge that runs the width of the stage that, if you're near the front, blocks everybody from the waist down (except when they're on the flatform, which is cool); and there's Brandon's stupid 'K' sign in front of his keyboard that, depending on where you are, sometimes blocks him completely. It's not a big enough deal to really put a damper on the show, but it's pretty annoying.

    The Killers Are Dang Good

by KillerSKY on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

They killed again! They always put on an amazing show, but both Reno sets were the best of the 20+ shows I've seen (thank you TK for playing "River")! Brandon Flowers loves his job, and it shows. So much infectious energy, always smiling and has a knack for engaging the crowd. Plus, he looks good in a suit.

    Incredible show

by Rambling Peregrin on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Opening act was an odd choice, and there were a gaggle of drunk girls LOUDLY talking through the whole show or being on their phones so often it annoyed the ever living piss out of me, but The Killers were a damn good showing, one of the most amped crowds I've seen in years, and *you know* they delivered. An incredible show despite the urge to dump a drink on people who think they're more important than a band we all came to see.

Who’s in charge of sound check?

by Joe C on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

I love the killer’s, and I’ve seen them many times. I’ve also been to half a dozen shows at GSR theater and had a great experience. We were a group of 5 in the ML section and all had to leave after 5 songs due to the sound being so bad. The vocals were so muffled and everything else was way too loud. The production was amazing as usual and we wanted to see the whole show, but it wasn’t enough to enjoy the music.

    Killing it!!

by Reno Rick on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Living in Reno we get to see a ton of great bands. Without a huge arena, more so than not, they are great acts later in their careers. The quality of the venues and performances very. Most are great. Seeing the Killers in their prime in the small GSR venue was treat. Brandon and the gang are legit musicians and performers. Heavy Elvis vibes from Brandon. And that is a HUGE compliment. Fun Fun Fun night. Very memorable evening.

    Killers - Loud and Vibrant

by jco on 9/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Love the Killers music, but the cover band, which was country western, didn't seem to mesh with the rock and roll. But they had great voices; it was short and sweet and didn't blast us out of the place. The venue and seating was great. However, when the Killers played, it was so darn loud that it was hard to discern all of the words and truly enjoy the entire experience. I wish they would have sung Home Means Nevada and Don't Fence Me In!
