Transported back to the 60"s and yes 1970. Greatest gathering of musicians ever. Ides of March and the Buckinghams just killed it.
This concert was fabulous !!!! All the original band members , the music Outstanding,. Will definitely attend again.
The music I grew up with in the mid 60's. The start of rock as we know it today. Saw them all many times at the Cellar in Arlington Heights. What a great non-stop show!
Loved the show, brought back lots of memories. Great!!!!
All the bands were great. None have lost their sound and the harmonys were very good. The show could have gone on all night.
Amazing show! These guys all still sound terrific! Definitely worth the price of admission!
They sounded just as good as they were in the 60's!
All the bands were awesome. All the songs brought back fond memories of my youth.
I was transported back to CB, Blue Village and the Cellar where we went to dance every weekend.I still have my Blue Village membership card! I went to this concert with some friends and we had such a fun evening. Would do it again and again.
This concert was excellent!! This was my second time seeing this concert. If you grew up in Chicago in the late sixty and early seventies this concert brings back so many memories. I will see it again!!!
All the other bands were great, Ides of march, crying shames, and all the other bands. I think who ever was the lead singer for the shadows of knight, was either high on something or he was trunk.
Terrific music played by terrific musicians. Highly recommend. Will see this show again ASAP !
Billed as 5 bands but only two there really. The Buckinghams had a full band with horns. And the Ides of March played and then backed a handful of members of New Colony Six, Cryan Shames and Shadows of Knight. Unfortunately it was the latter 3 I was most interested in. Disappointing a bit since I believe there are still working versions of the Shadows and NC6.
A great mix of artists. Add some still amazing voices, and you have a great evening. There was never a dull moment in the show. Trivia about the various groups was very interesting and appreciated.
Great performance- so much fun from opening song to the encore- Bring Ides of March back to House of Blues!
