The Hot Sardines Tickets

This band rolled out on time and were super engaging with their audience. The venue was perfect. Jimmy's Jazz and Blues club complimented this Jazz experience like a "Manhattan" compliments a comfy club chair and dark teak walls! The Sardines were on their game and obviously comfortable on this stage as if they were a house act.. They performed 2 shows on our night, my only regret was we didn't spring for tickets to stay for the 2nd show. We would have happily listened to the same set list twice in one night if it meant staying in the "electric" vibe we were all caught up in during their performance. The venue and this band at it, made for a magical evening we much needed and will now long for again.

My first time at Jimmy’s and I was very impressed the club is really unique and the staff was friendly. The Hot Sardines put on a wonderful show, I will be looking to attend another performance for sure.

Best xmas present for my parents! Not only was it good quality time out w family but they truly enjoyed the live music - big band, swing, jazz!!! The Hot Sardines put on a great show - I would definitely buy tickets again if they came to the DC area again!

A truly unique and talented band! Very, very entertaining. So glad they are keeping alive the style and sound of jazz in the teens, 20's, and 30's. We had a great time, saw some talented musicians, and heard some good music. Loved the energy, humor, and short stories about early jazz musicians. Addition of tap dancer was fun. Wonderful lead singer! True entertainers. I appreciate their interaction with the crowd and the professional way they dealt with some minor hecklers and an exhibitionist dancer from the crowd. Too bad they started late, took a fairly long intermission break and finished a bit early. Great encore number but overall I thought the concert was 20-30 minutes shorter than I expected.

Just an average show with the tap dancer with the best moves.

I, We, were expecting more "jazz", and especially more oldies, ie 40's swing band and vocals.... and the show was about 4 tunes too short, 2 more in the first half, and esp, 2 more in the last half.... So somewhat disappointed in that. AND the sound was WAY too LOUD...would have been much more enjoyable with it toned down a tad.

The Hot Sardines are one of my favorite modern swing bands and it was such an honor to go see them. The techs did a good job with the sound and mixed them quite well. The only issue is that there wasn't enough dancing room, this is a band I have a really hard time just sitting still to and need to get up and move with the music. Well done everyone involved with the show, you did an excellent job!

The Hot Sardines were one of the best performances we've ever experienced!! Each instrumentalist was a virtuoso. The vocalist's renditions were intricate and wonderful. The tap dancer was nothing short of astounding. And, in this case, the combination of these amazing talents produced a performance that was magical!!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO COME BACK!!! Ticket purchase online with pick-up at theater window was a breeze.

Probably the most entertaining show I’ve ever been to. Excellent music, visuals, and sound quality. Can’t wait to see them again!

The concert was wonderful - lively, energetic, and Elizabeth has a great voice and stage presence. Unfortunately, a couple rows behind us were some rowdy (probably drunk or high) ladies who talked loudly and drowned out the music at times and distracted the audience with dancing in the aisles and up front, blocking the view. Ushers should have removed them to the back or lobby area for their dancing and noise making.

The group delivers the goods. They take no breaks and it’s continuous fabulous music. Everyone is showcased and all musicians are outstanding. A totally enjoyable evening, much fun and warm feelings.

Being a long time fan but never seeing them in person until last week I had some high expectations. Those expectations were met & surpassed! If you like Jazz check them out, if you don't like Jazz you will.

Very good musicians, stylish and charming vocalist, great tap dancers. Overall it's fun performance which puts you in a good mood.

Had never heard of this group- listened to them on you tube and purchased tickets for a group of 8. They were wonderful, different interpretations of old songs and a surprise tap dancer that was a delight. Bought their cd and will be following them for another great evening

They were great. Enjoyed A.C.'s tap dancing. I hope they come back next year.
