Great concert
by Rocker63 on 7/3/23Rating: 5 out of 5I really thought the concert was really good. At my age I enjoyed the first 2 bands, which were for the younger crowd. The Guess who was fantastic, they did a great job!

I really thought the concert was really good. At my age I enjoyed the first 2 bands, which were for the younger crowd. The Guess who was fantastic, they did a great job!
The Guess Who was a delight to listen to. Their old favorites and some new releases kept us entertained throughout. It was fun getting the crowd into the music and dancing in the aisles. We also enjoyed the 2 warm-up bands in Duluth (MN). Fenix Dion had a Prince/Jimi Hendrix vibe, then the Kiss the Tiger high energy performance rocked the house. It was a fun time for all.
The opening acgt were really bad and poorly chosen for a classic rock concert!! Fenixdion was especially bad! The Guess Who themselves were amazing!!
Almost two hours of sitting through opening acts which were very poorly matched to the Guess Who audience; then a disappointing performance by a band that really should not be calling themselves the Guess Who. They are are at best a cover band. PS The sound systems didn't do anyone any favors either. Very distorted midrange rendered most vocals unintelligible.
The Guess Who was amazing!! Fabulous!! I want to see them again. First time I saw them 50 years ago at university. Wow!! Love them The 2 opening bands I did not like at all.
The Guess Who still rocking’ hard!!! Great show and venue.
One of the best shows I've seen in along time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Guess Who played many of their hits and a few others - all well done. They seemed to have as much fun as we did. Two warm-up bands, 1st one very good. Great venue. Overall, would love to see them again!
They event center really screwed up on the warm up bands. The demographics of the audience was 60+. You don't bring in 2 bands from Minneapolis to sing their original music.
While I recognize that the main attraction comes on later after the preview band, advertising the show starts at 7pm and not having the main attraction come on for two hours is a bit much. With an 1.5 hour drive after the show, we are getting home after midnight now. Will likely reconsider any more shows in Duluth. Second, if you look around the arena, it is obvious it is mostly grey hairs attending. Having warm up bands that do not relate to this age group is probably not the best selection.
Great show but opening act was not very good, the second act was very good and I plan on seeing them again. The guess who was great!!!
Such an excellent show. A lot of old hits and a few new ones. Very good audience interaction. Would definitely go again.
Fantastic show from the Guess Who! Would see then again! That being said, when they say the concert starts at 7 and then Guess Who comes out at 9 was very disappointing. The 2 warm up bands were not the type of bands the crowd was there for. And 3ach played for an hour. Lots of people got up and walked around outside the auditorium.
Band finally started around 9 PM after two opening acts. The Guess Who's set started out very slow with several lesser known songs, would have been nice to kick it off with something familiar. Whoever booked the opening acts really missed the boat as the crowd was mostly 50 plus adults. The openers were two I would call them grunge type bands and not appropriate for this crowd at all.
Great show in a great small venue! The Guess Who put on a high energy rockin' show with many of their hits and some new material. Very talented musicians carry on the legacy. A must see for true rock fans.
The Guess Who were exceptional! Just like I remembered them from 7th grade!!! Exceptional!! These guys won't be around for long, introduce them to your kids the music is timeless and the classic nature of 70's rock will never die. This kind of music will never be bookshelfed!!
The Guess Who performance was above and beyond expectations!
Orleans was a nice warm up band-we enjoyed their set but The Guess Who really rocked. The quality of their sound and instruments were very impressive-even unexpected. This show should have more of an audience than it did. How do we get the word out?
I saw The Guess Who back in the 1970’s at U of MD. At that time I was in awe of the band and especially Burton Cummings. I will never forget him playing and singing “Sour Suite”- so moving that I still remember it…so coming to see the band in 2023, I knew would be different without him. I have to say that I had a wonderful time and the band and vocals were great! My one issue was that the music at times was so loud that you couldn’t hear the vocals, especially in the beginning.
The Band was tight, the songs were outstanding, if they were coming closer to Harrisburg PA, I would go again.
