The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band released eleven studio albums, all of which reached the charts in Canada and the United States. Their 1970 album American Woman reached no. 1 in Canada and no. 9 in the United States, while five other albums reached the top ten in Canada. The Guess Who charted fourteen Top 40 singles in the United States and more than thirty in Canada.
The band found their greatest success in the late 60s and early 70s, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman, with hit songs including "American Woman", "These Eyes", "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature", and "No Time". With Randy Bachman's exit in 1970, Kurt Winter joined the band and The Guess Who would go on to release the band's top selling album Share the Land. Songs such as "Hand Me Down World", "Hang On To Your Life", "Albert Flasher", "Clap for the Wolfman", "Runnin' Back to Saskatoon", "Star Baby", and "Glamour Boy" would follow.
The Guess Who officially broke up in 1975 with the exit of lead singer Burton Cummings. Cummings. Members of The Guess Who reunited a number of times over the years, with their last concert being in front of 450,000 at the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto SARS benefit concert.
With Randy's powerful guitar work and Burton's distinct vocals and keyboard mastery, the duo continues to capture the spirit of what made The Guess Who a household name. They are more than just former bandmates -- they are ambassadors of Canadian rock, whose influence can be heard in countless acts that followed in their footsteps. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Guess Who were pioneers who dared to dream beyond their borders--and succeeded on a global stage.

We really enjoyed seeing the Guess Who. The music was great. Would go and see them again if they come back to this area.
I felt like I was back in high school, siging all the songs. Remembered every word. Would pay more to go see them again. Great job!
THE LEAD SINGER WAS AMAZING!!! WHEN I SEE THEM AGAIN, I WILL PURCHASE FRONT ROW SEATS!!!!! THE GUITAR DUET, FLUTE SOLO, DRUM SOLO, ALL OUTSTANDING!! WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HEAR AMERICAN WOMAN TWICE. I AM SO HAPPY I WENT,. I DANCED THROUGH OUT MOST OF THE SHOW!!! AGAIN, THE LEAD SINGER DEREK, WHAT A VOICE!!!!!!!!
The band was great, sounded awesome and performed as though they were playing to a packed house. I felt bad they didn't have a more energetic crowd, or have all the seats full, but I would definitely pay to see them play again!
It looked like the bass guitar was only original band member. However, his playing and singing was still amazing. The younger lead singer was out of this world and he played guitar harmonies with the other lead guitar player that are almost impossible to duplicate. Other vocal harmonies were out of sight by the lead guitar and keyboard player (keyboard also played an incredible flute solo). Drummer was excellent and played a drum solo with his hands that was almost inhuman. Sound mix was also excellent. Light show was minimal but the music more than made up for it. They stayed totally true to the music.
The concert was poorly attended but all the better for those of us who showed up. Got to move to the front. Had been concerned about the acoustics in this venue but the sound was great. Not the original lead singer but he does a hell of a job. Music sounded like I remembered. So many of the older bands are messing with their music which disappoints me. When I go see an old band I want to hear what I loved, not some new version of it. They did play a couple of their new songs. Were OK. Put on a good show, got the crowd into it. Well worth the money and I'd go see them again!!!
The Guess Who concert in Grand Island was poorly attended, but did not disappoint! They sounded great and took my husband and I back to our youth, playing all their old hits plus some new ones. They don't have a lot of bells and whistles, such as a big light display, etc., but that didn't matter to us!
Loved the show. I haven't heard a drum solo in many years and it really took me back...the solo led right into 'American Woman'...what a great performance. He ended the solo by playing the drums with his hands! Very cool. If you liked the Guess Who in the 60's you will really enjoy this show.
The Guess Who played a little venue in Ocean Grove, NJ this past weekend and they were great! I've been listening to their music and singing and dancing around the office all day!! Can't wait until I could see them again!! Great job guys! Loved it!!!
The Guess Who were amazing at Canalside Concert for a Cure in Buffalo, NY!! They sounded great and sang all our favorite songs and more. Entertained the crowd non stop and stayed after the show for meet and greet autograph session, AWESOME SHOW!
What an amazing show! Took me straight back to the 7th and 8th grade!
Great show, every song brought a great memory of my younger years. I highly recommend to anyone who ever listened to the band or grew up in the fabulous seventies. Definitely not a dull moment the entire night.
Great music and great memories. The lead singer sounds like the original and gets everyone singing. I was surprised as I didn't remember they had so many songs. The only thing I didn't like was (what I call old school) when they would leave stage and then come back and play again; some folks don't know and start leaving.
Best concert I've been to in a while! Very entertaining, lead singer wasnt original but he did very well and was fun!
Great Show! The show was entertaining and kept the audiance entertained the whole night.. It will be talked about in the future with friends. Had an enjoyable evening..Great memories...
I was soooo glad to see the guys back in the Louisiana/Mississippi area! My husband and I used to go to their gigs a lot, and we really missed them when they stopped touring the U.S.

Awesome! There Eyes, American Woman, No Time.....great songs and great performance.
The Guess Who brought me back to High School Cruisin with the 8 track blaring American Woman!!!! The Bands interaction with the crowd was Awesome and the selection of songs just right to keep the crowd engaged. Musicallytight and the vocals were spot on!
The concer was really awesome. They played all the great songs they are famous for. The sound level was just right. Us old people, 60 yrs old and older, still like to rock and roll. I just wish that the Hard Rock Casion was closer, 3 hrs away, cause I would go alot more often,
