The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band released eleven studio albums, all of which reached the charts in Canada and the United States. Their 1970 album American Woman reached no. 1 in Canada and no. 9 in the United States, while five other albums reached the top ten in Canada. The Guess Who charted fourteen Top 40 singles in the United States and more than thirty in Canada.
The band found their greatest success in the late 60s and early 70s, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman, with hit songs including "American Woman", "These Eyes", "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature", and "No Time". With Randy Bachman's exit in 1970, Kurt Winter joined the band and The Guess Who would go on to release the band's top selling album Share the Land. Songs such as "Hand Me Down World", "Hang On To Your Life", "Albert Flasher", "Clap for the Wolfman", "Runnin' Back to Saskatoon", "Star Baby", and "Glamour Boy" would follow.
The Guess Who officially broke up in 1975 with the exit of lead singer Burton Cummings. Cummings. Members of The Guess Who reunited a number of times over the years, with their last concert being in front of 450,000 at the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto SARS benefit concert.
With Randy's powerful guitar work and Burton's distinct vocals and keyboard mastery, the duo continues to capture the spirit of what made The Guess Who a household name. They are more than just former bandmates -- they are ambassadors of Canadian rock, whose influence can be heard in countless acts that followed in their footsteps. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Guess Who were pioneers who dared to dream beyond their borders--and succeeded on a global stage.

Seattle Band Maid concert two days earlier seeing the excitement all concert long. It was pretty amazing seeing a crowd with an average age over 65 rock and dance as hard to The Guess Who. Heart warming. Keep rocking years to come.
The band was terrific. Great music with a lot of fun mixed in. Thank you for the experience.
The show was amazing! Great music and very engaging. Highly recommended!!!
No original members left in the band. I don’t see how they can’t see how they can call them The GUESS WHO…. Yes they do all of the hits ..love the songs But they should be called a tribute band .. Since no one original left in band
Good performance. Better than I expected. Sound was good they were personable and entertaining!
The Guess Who are so talented and energized!!!! All band members really connect with the audience and make them part of the show. Such awesome musicians and singers, just unbelievable talent on stage. Great storytelling too! Highly recommend checking out the Guess Who if you have the chance! You will love it. Such a fun evening!!!
Energetic, sound was great, everybody in there were pumped
What an awesome show! Sounded just like 1965 and onwards. Worked the crowd perfectly and you could tell they were happy to be there. They sang three encore songs at the end of the concert. Well worth the money and The Belterra Casino is a great venue.
The Guess Who performed old and new music--they are great musicians, but I preferred the oldies, which I suspect most concert-goers were there for. I mean, there are so many hits from the '60s and '70s and that was the main draw. The venue, however, left a lot to be desired. It is fairly small compared to most venues, but the seating on the floor was super tight, metal-framed chairs on a level floor (meaning if you weren't on the front row, you were peeking around the head and shoulders of the people in front of you to see the performers. The balcony seating would have been better, but we had never been there before, so we didn't know. Acoustics were good, people were friendly, but the seating is thumbs down.
The instruments overpowered the voices. A bit LOUD to my liking.
Have a very nice night. Our daughter gave us the tickets for an present. Just the right size for an event that you could enjoy it.
Don't get me wrong, they were fairly good, just not good enough. Was disappointed not even one of member of the original band was there, which just makes them a cover band to me. I doubt if any of the band, except for the keyboard player was even alive when The Guess Who was big. They played maybe 5 of the big hits, some off the wall songs and had a way too long guitar duel. The main spokesman was very condescending to the crowd. He apparently doesn't realize that if it wasn't for us "old" people no one would have been there to see them. If they would have given refunds I would have asked for one.
It was amazing and the perfect size venue for the concert! The group was AMAZING, the seats were great and all in all just an excellent time. Our first time visiting the Ameristar and definitely would see a show there again!
They still gave us our money's worth with great showmanship and nailing all the hits.
I was really surprise, great show. Musicians very solid with beat. Love small venue! I would see them again, for sure. :)
Even though I don’t think any of the band members were in the band originally, the guys did a nice job presenting the music. I for one appreciated the complete lack of any cussing etc. during the concert. Nice this day in age. I loved The Guess Who back in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Too bad so many old people were in the audience! Ha.
Loved the Guess Who concert. They played most of our favs and sounded great. Ameristar venue is a great small place to hear live music, great sound! My only complaint would be how long the length of the concert. They played for 1 hour and then a 15 minute curtain call. Fans deserve more than that.
awesome concert. i thought they were very good. sound was awesome as well. one of the best concerts i have been to., just felt they should have played a little longer. but not a big deal
The band was awesome and had a really enjoyable evening! Just missed seeing Garry.
