The Great Gatsby is a new musical based on the best-selling 1925 novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The iconic story follows young WWI veteran Nick Carraway as he’s drawn into the glittering world of debutantes, high society and riotious parties courtesy of millionaire Jay Gatsby, his former flame Daisy Buchanan and her controlling husband Tom in Jazz Age New York. The Broadway production features music and lyrics by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen and a book by Kait Kerrigan. The Great Gatsby is now playing at the Broadway Theatre in New York’s Theater District.

This is to date the best musical I’ve seen to date. I prefer shows that grab into your heart and emotionally impact you - that’s exactly what this was. It was so amazing watching Ryan Maccartan and Sarah Hyland take the stage. From the music to the SET it’s beyond captivating. I recommend this to anyone and everyone. It’s a must see while visiting Broadway.
This portrayal of great gatsby captures the glamourous and glitzy life of the roaring 20s. It is a fun night at the theater with high energy choreography and exciting new songs. You will be mesmerized by this production, especially Jeremy Jordan as Gatsby.
