CS Lewis Comes Alive on Stage
by A Happy Audience Member on 8/2/22Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseThe book, The Great Divorce, is a complex allegory for the divide between heaven and hell. While not ever intended as a theological treatise, CS Lewis was trying to illustrate a point. This production takes the highlights of many of the vignettes of the book, brings them to life, and makes that point. Even with a very small cast and a minimal set, the production was done at a very high level. The three of the four actors transitioned from role to role to role throughout the 90 minutes. Incredible versatility! Funny (as in: laugh out loud funny) and weighty all at the same time. See it if you can and take your family.
