Rating: 2 out of 5The friends at my table...
by DeeDeeII on 1/5/11Galaxy Theatre - Santa Ana...were the best part of the evening. Sorry, but it was a disaster of an evening for my whole group. We were all absolutely freezing due to the fact that the venue left the main doors at the front of the building open all night. It had to of been 45 degrees in there. Even the restroom seats were ice cold! Our waitress was overwhelmed. We rarely saw her. We spent more time getting drinks at the bar ourselves. She missed a great tip! The volume of all three bands was way too high. We just kept looking at each other and laughing when the Fenians main singer Terri(?) was commenting that he didn't get any laughs at his jokes. That was because no one could understand him! The music wasn't so loud that it hurt your ears - just that you couldn't understand any of the words! The mics went out several times, they noticed it, but we didn't!!! The music for each song sounded exactly alike too! Believe me - our table wasn't the only one that thought this! And they even continued to make music(?) when it was midnight! People just started blowing horns and noise makers to get them to stop. They handled it in a very lame way. Will I go again to see the Fenians? No. Will I go again to the Galaxy? No.
