Each member of the band brought their own flair and excellence to the effort. Ticketing process and parking was handled well by EJ Thomas Hall.
Took my 11 year old grandson who loves ELO and we loved the show! The music was right on and performed so well. He was given a guitar pick from the bass player and he was so excited! A memorable evening for sure. Great job and would definitely recommend the show and go again!
I wonder what it takes to get a group like that together. I may turn into a 70 yo groupie!
They were fantastic. It was like watching the original band.
The show was well worth it, tickets were good, seating was nice, parking great. Wish it was a little longer. I received the tickets in the mail 2 days prior. Tried getting a hold of someone through Ticketmaster on the phone and through the internet with no luck which made the experience stressful.
Hello! My friend and I attended the "Evil Woman: The American ELO" concert on March 12, 2022, at the River City Casino. The band was wonderful, joyful, and super talented. Seating was uncomfortable with limited views. The River City Casino concert room has a stage, but this is not a typical theater or concert room with slanted floors and fixed seats; there is no real seating other than narrow hotel banquet chairs jammed very closely together. The couple next to us was already seated when we arrived, and the woman to my left was very large...about four inches of her hips and bottom were spilling over onto my seat. Since these were hotel banquet seats with no armrests, dividers, or boundaries, I spent the two-hour concert basically with a woman sitting on me, and tried to crunch myself up so that we weren't all over each other. Very unpleasant! We paid $75 per ticket for the last row of the front section, and since the floors weren't slanted, I spent the entire concert trying to lean right or left to see around the head of the man in front of me. River City Casino should provide a proper amphitheater or concert room if they are going to charge prices like that!
Singers were great, almost 2 full hours of entertainment. All the members gave it 100% for a good time.
Took me back my days in high school. People my own age. Songs I didn’t have the F word in it every other sentence. People know how to play instruments. Especially classical ones like the violin and cello. The idiots of today can’t hold a candle to the talent of these artist.You can understand every word and not some mumble jumble repetitiveness
I wouldn't know about the concert...I was not able to go. But I'm rating Ticketmaster very, very low for not allowing a refund policy. I knew I couldn't attend concert in plenty of time for a refund, but Ticketmaster only offers a way to sell your tickets. I will do my best NOT to use Ticketmaster in the future.
This experience was not as good as I thought it would be. The seats on floor were uncomfortable, we were left if stage and couldn't see very good of the whole stage. The music system they had sounded distorted or reverbish. We were very disappointed.
The ELO Experience was a perfect band to hear ELO's music. I have seen ELO in the late 70's and the sound, vocals and lights were really good.
They were a good cover band very low budget show for the price of tickets
Great great great show! They play all the hits and then some-and they sound so much like the original ELO it’s incredible ! A deftly executed tribute to one of pop’s best !
I want to say that it's difficult for any band to step into the shoes of great legends. American ELO did an amazing job doing so and I was very pleased with their voices and enthusiasm (especially back-singer Rebecca, her expressions and beat were just contagious!). Great hits selection and keeping the scene as real as possible which includes the amazing violinists. Keep it up American ELO!
I loved the band, would see them again. It brought back memories and everyone in the band was fantastic .
Thought the lead singer who portayed Jeff Lynne could have been more animated, versus just standibg there. Also why was it necessary for the organ player to introduce every song? Just play the songs, ths video behind them did the rest.
I love ELO and have seen them in concert. Evil Woman - The American ELO was as close to the real thing as it gets. There were twelve musicians, including four on strings. The musicality was excellent, with great guitar solos and the vocals were spot on. The sassy girl singer was worth the price of admission alone. If they come back to town, I'll go again.
So many hits and this band gave us a wonderful evening. Enjoyed every song.
Evil Woman: The American ELO was a fantastic show. The musicianship and vocals were spot on and they were an absolute delight to watch. They clearly love what they do and I would see them again when they come back to South Florida. We had a great time!
