The BU vs BC game was great. The expectations going in were high, and those expections were greatly exceeded. My son and I had a wonderful time viewing this sporting event. It was our first time in the Garden.
Any college event is usually fantastic. However, the score was tied 2-2 at the end of regulation. 6.4 seconds left in overtime BC scores to win the Beanpot. Exciting end to an exciting game.
The semi finals- 1st round was fun. the atmosphere of college hockey with the bands and student chants is part of the aurora of it.
Great venue, student enthusiasm is contagious. The hockey was terrific.
Harvard played BU very well and if they hadn't coughed up the puck in the defensive zone twice in the first period they may have knocked out BU. Northeastern looked gritty and tough for one period against a heavily favored BC team and then they sadly got embarrassed 7-1. Too bad. Should be a great Championship game.

I couldn't believe the enthusiasm and energy that the college students brought to the place. The bands went back and forth playing songs. The cheering was so much fun, even though they over did the "You (name) suck".
This was the first beanpot I've attended! One of the best hockey games I have ever seen! Great game! Great energy! Great atmosphere! Enthusiastic fans and a hard fought game - - for both teams! This is one I'll be talking about for years to come!
We were unable to make the Consolation Game, but we did make it for the Championship Game, and what a game it was. Back and forth scoring Boston College, Northeastern. Northeastern, Boston College. It was a very exciting game. Then coming to the end of the third period and being tied at 6 each. Wow! who will end up champions this year. After only a few minutes, bingo Boston College scores and wins the coveted Beanpot.

my first Beanpot..great college hockey. the second match between BU & BC was worth two times more than i paid for my fourth row seat...amazing event. can't wait for the next time.
