Hailing from Seattle, The Dip is an electrifying seven-piece ensemble that melds vintage rhythm and blues with classic pop storytelling. Acclaimed by KEXP as "one of the most exciting and joyous acts to emerge in recent years," the band features frontman Tom Eddy's compelling vocals over an effortlessly deep pocket and energetic melodies from the three-piece Honeynut Horns.
Following the organic buzz of the 2015 debut, the band arrived on the international stage with their 2019 sophomore full-length, The Dip Delivers. Buoyed by the hit single "Sure Don't Miss You," the album was entirely recorded and mixed by the band in their own studio in Seattle - and has racked up over 50 million streams on Spotify alone, all via word of mouth and non-stop touring. An ambitious 2019 touring schedule took the band throughout North America (including several major festivals), Europe (supporting Durand Jones & the Indications), and Japan.
Now, the band will return to the road in 2022 with a full North American headline tour and a new label home, Dualtone Records, home of The Lumineers, Shakey Graves, Shovels & Rope, and more.
The band's new single, "Paddle to the Stars," is out now on Dualtone, and a new album is in the works. Stay tuned!

These guys really know how to put on a show! Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!!!
Absolutely love The Dip! Would see them again in a heartbeat, wish they had done 2 nights in DC at different Venues to give a different experience
We loved every second of it. Amazing show. Truly a must see live type of band.
They put on a very lively show, kept the energy going and did an awesome job live. Fun group to go see.
Listening to "The Dip"for the first time was a wonderful experience. I was truly pleased with the performance and will continue to follow the band.
This band is SOOOOO AMAZING! They are so well put together and have amazing chemistry. Their song writing has a wonderful groove and beautiful as well as clever lyrics! Tom Eddy and the guys are an absolute must to see!
The dip was fantastic, even better than they sound on recording, definitely one of my favorite bands. Amazing music, will be seeing again too.
The dip's music is amazing. And they are incredible to watch live.
We took a flyer in this band, along with juice, the opening band. Had no idea who either band was and boy were we blown away. The dip was great music incredibly polished. But the sleeper of the night was juice. I don’t know when I enjoyed a band more. Incredible chemistry and they were so friendly and nice after the show when we met them. Very tight music great guitar unbelievable bassist and drummer and the fiddle player was out of control. The lead singer Ben has a wonderful voice and great moves. This band should go far! Both bands created a wonderful evening for my wife and me
We very much enjoyed The Dip, especially their original music. And the instruments did not overpower the vocals, which too often happens with groups. However, we weren't terribly thrilled with the opening act - Juice - and believe perhaps a solo performer would have been better. Juice did a good job, but that too-loud rock wasn't such a good match with The Dip.
They were awesome! We didn't know much about the band and only checked out a few songs, in part, online. We like bands with horns; so, with my cousin's invitation, we decided to give it a go. Awesome Band!
Kaleta and the Dip was such an amazing, soul-refilling show. This was my first time back to 9:30 since seeing either Gogol Bordello or Brazilian Girls back before my 6 year old daughter was born. So good to be back. I’ve been telling everyone I know to check these 2 exceptional band out.
They are better than there albums if that is even possible.
This was a cool show! I had never heard of the Dip, but they were cool and the atmosphere was great. Went with girlfriend, had a lot of fun. No complaints, very cool for a Tuesday night!!
I had never heard of The Dip and my 26 year old son was doing a road trip to go see the concert and I decided to tag along. Absolutely loved it! I thought the opening act ( Stephen Day ) was great and I loved the Dip’s performance. Energetic, engaging, incredible musicians and I love Tom Eddy’s smooth vocals. So happy that I was introduced to their music. I have them on my favourite playlist…Will definitely be listening and waiting for another opportunity to hear them live.
Awesome concert, I like them live even more than recorded. The venue was cool and I was standing in a nice space that had a good view of the stage. Not too crowded, good acoustics, coat check was simple. Good spot.
Had a great time at this show! The Filmore was a great venue. Crowd was having fun, but plenty of space between everyone. I had heard and liked songs of The Dip, but to see them live was a whole other experience. One of my favorite shows by far. I won't miss the next time they come to California!
Band was tight, Nice energy, crowd was fantastic. Sir Woman was a fantastic opener.
Great young band with an old school feel. I was going to this show because I just wanted to go to this iconic venue in SF, the Fillmore, but I discovered a Diamond. Great sound, great musicianship, and great energy. The Dip has a new fan for life.
