About

Metal fans have spoken, and they say that to fully appreciate The Devil Wears Prada, the band absolutely must be seen live, making TDWP tickets a valuable commodity. The Christian metalcore band from Dayton Ohio are committed to a divine cause—to rise above an unsatisfying life of petty materialism and aim for more spiritual pursuits—and nothing drives the point home like TDWP’s ominous songs scream-growled by frontman Mike Hranica. Like a shining beacon of hope, Jeremy DePoyster’s crystal clear vocals counterbalance Hranica’s guttural tones and soar far above Chris Rubey’s high octane guitar, Jon Gering’s haunting synths, and bassist Andy Trick and drummer Daniel Williams’ hard-driving rhythmic foundations. In concert, songs like “Care More,” “Black and Blue,” “Rumors,” and “War” reach a completely new level of loud. As an ever-evolving band that never appears content with the status quo, The Devil Wears Prada will no doubt remain one of metalcore’s premiere acts alongside As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, and Parkway Drive.

    Location determines everything

by Iwrestledabearonce on 12/5/11Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

It was a great concert, but the place was awful I mean AWFUL! A terrible place for a crowd and water was $5. I can buy 24 bottles for $5... It took away from the performance. Great concert though.

TDWP never ceases to amaze me!

by Pike1868 on 12/4/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

It was an awesome show, for today had great music little too much preaching for my taste. All the other bands especially TDWP blew my mind off this planet, next time there in Florida will be seeing them again VIP style without hesitation.

    OH MY GOSHHH AMAZING

by Rachbits on 12/4/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

the whole show was outstanding except for White Chapel. they try too hard to be serious but it sounded like one continuous song and was unimpressive. Enter Shikari was outstanding and For Today was amazing but The Devil Wears Prada STOLE. THE. SHOW. SO AMAZING.

TDWP ROCKED ....even us "old folks"

by RSFAN1 on 12/3/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

My husband and I took our kids, ages 15 and 11, to the show. We are all avid concert goers, but I had reservations about going to this one. (Not my favorite type of music, but I was open to give it a try....for the kids.) The kids surely weren't going without us, so I was expecting to wear ear plugs and prayed for the questionable influences to be minimal. Upon arrival, we met the "clean singer", Jeremy, as he strolled through LA Live. He was super pleasant and obliged us in posing for a picture with the kids. :) As we entered the venue, I did not feel uncomfortable in the slightest. We had great seats in the balcony and were thankful for the fact that we were out of the "mosh pit" below. We weren't impressed with the opening bands; thought the first one was okay, but the others just down right annoying and strange. (Even the kids thought so) Finally, the headliners, The Devil Wears Prada, took stage and gave it all they had. I still don't totally "get" the screamo attraction, but understand that aggression is a real emotion and some kids feel a freedom listening to this type of music. Anyway, we enjoyed our experience and were pleasantly surprised that the crowd maintained a level of maturity and respect for us "old timers". We even had a young girl approach us telling us, "YOU ROCK for taking your kids here". Hahaha If she only knew the shows my husband and I had gone to when we were younger. ;) Some kids just don't realize that we adults were once kids too. And I think that some adults forget that they were once kids and disconnect from their kids judging them too harshly for what they are into. Overall, we enjoyed the show, but most of all the appreciation we felt from our kids from sharing this time with them. PRICELESS! <3

    Whitechapel of Love

by Cheezus on 11/26/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Is it possible to be too heavy brutal metal for Hardcore fans? Yes. Just when you thought it couldn't get anymore intense for these karate-choppin' girl jean-wearin' whine balls, Whitechapel come to slay the swanky club. Didn't stay to see Prada.

The most amazing show I have ever seen!

by Los24 on 11/24/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

I've been to a lot of shows and I have seen the devil wears prada over 10 times. They seem to put on a better show each time. Mike has so much energy on stage and he knows exactly how to get the crowd into it which is something a lot of bands seem to have forgotten to do. Watching them play a set is almost like watching a movie. They have so many build ups that result in them playing what seems to be your favorite song every time. I will see them eveeytime they come because they care so deeply about their crowd. They appreciate every single person that is there and they make and play their music for all the right reasons.

    Devil Wears Prada

by Nugget1899 on 11/23/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

I loved the concert, all the bands were amazing. For Today was really moving, and Enter Shikari was unforgettable with their funny stage antics. I missed Whitechapel because I had to step outside for fresh air, but made it back in time to catch their last song. The Devil Wears Prada was completely fantastic, I loved their energy and their setlist was great. This is a show I'll never forget.

    Siiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!!!!!!!

by LoveBands on 11/23/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

One of the best concerts I've been to this year. All bands were great. Only suggestion is not to shine the bright lights on the audience - we want to see the bands!

    Wish it didn't end!

by CBx7 on 11/23/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

From start to finish the show was great. The atmosphere, thanks to some very pretty, friendly people I met due to some drunk guy being dumb, was fun throughout the gig. The venue is a pretty good sized one and easy to get into the pit no matter what you pay. Wish I would've have asked that cute Sfv blonde for her number tho....

Devil Wears Prada blew the roof off!!

by WheelsCA on 11/22/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

As an ADA concert goer and first time guest of Club Nokia, the seating area was nice and spacious. The bar area, bathrooms, patio is all within very short distance with no crowding. Clean and smooth elevators. My overall experience was pretty sweet. I'd definitely come back for more shows!! P.s. Whitechapel was AWESOME!! The Devil Wears Prada, from beginning to end Always puts on a prime show. Their energy never declines. 'Nuff, said!!

    Potentially 5 Stars

by Ajfree on 11/22/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

This show was amazing. All 4 performing bands were awesome and put on a great show. The downfall was not on the bands, but the host. Not only were general admission tickets overly expensive ($35), but pit tickets were a whopping $65! Plus a tshirt would be 30 more, making about a $90 price for the concert. If GA tickets allowed pit, things would be a lot better. Water was $1 so many people just drank out of the sink. Many things could be improved

by Nicciiiiii88 on 11/22/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

That show was amazing. I had so much fun , all the bands made it happen. A completely great experience ! I can't wait to go see them again , I would see any of the bands again , and have since been downloading every one of their songs . It was inspirational and got me even more excited when they spoke their hearts about what they stand for and their love for Jesus Christ, that was sincere and ultimately an awesome experience !
