The Dan Band has carved a unique niche for itself at the intersection of music and comedy, combining equal parts humor and chops to achieve their pitch-perfect pop culture send-ups. Known for their histrionic, tongue-in-cheek covers of traditionally female-fronted power anthems, comedian Dan Finnerty and his hilarious backup duo have become a comedy circuit favorite and late-night talk show staple. The Dan Band is a live act first and foremost — their 2005 debut album was a live album — and there's no better way to experience them than on their 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The brainchild of actor and comedian Dan Finnerty, the Dan Band got their start in LA's comedy club scene, where they were hailed as the "hottest ticket in town" by Entertainment Weekly. After making several high-profile cameos in comedy blockbusters like The Wedding Planner (2001) and Old School (2003), the band released their 2005 debut album The Dan Band Live. The album was a hit, featuring parodies of pop culture subjects including Shakira ("Whenever Wherever/Hips Don't Lie") and bubblegum pop ("Genie In a Bottle/No Scrubs/Slave 4 U") and setting the tone for their future live shows. As the band hits the road for another gut-busting tour in 2014, no topic is off-limits, and fans wouldn't have it any other way.

Great show. Great fans. Really involved the audience between songs. It's ironic that The Dan Band were in The Hangover since our group kind of lived our own version of the movie later that night, complete with losing somebody and periods of memory.
This is one of the greatest fusions of rock, pop, comedy, choreography, et al. Dudes singing girl sones interlaced with profanity, improv interaction with the crowd. Excellent all the way around!
This was my second time seeing The Dan Band and it was better then the first time. Dan and his group are very inventive, entertaining and funny as hell. A must see!!
Wow, not sure with this night out to see the Dan Band. All right, a couple of laughs with the first F-bomb but after the 137th one it got tiring and after the 299th real tiring and a real put off. Dan can entertain and is comedic with the audience, puts his energy into all the songs for sure. I was ready to go before the show was over. To sum it up. If Dan would just sing and dance with the back up boys with songs everyone loves with his talented input he would be a whole lot further respected in the entertainment world. Sorry Dan, I wanted to love the show but it fell short with me. Please don't F-bomb me for this.
So much fun and non-stop entertainment. Love the idea of guys singing girl songs. They had the moves for "Single Lady" perfect!! If you don't mind being razzed, sit in the front. Well worth the ticket price!!
I was expecting a night of cheesy covers and sexual innuendo. What I wasn't expecting was some of the funniest choreography and between song stand up comedy I have ever attended. My wife and I had an absolute blast and can honestly say the show was worth every penny. I will catch them they next time they are in town. The venue was also gorgeous and the sound (from an Acoustical Engineer's perspective) was impressive.
This is not going to be the last time I see the Dan Band. They are hilarious from beginning to end!

The Dan Band was amazing! I bought these tickets for my husband for Father's Day. Seeing them was on his bucket list. I went too but I was, honestly, just going to go with him. I'm glad I did go! I was blown away! The Dan Band was hilarious! A perfect mix of comedy and music!! We would definitely see them again!
This was my first time seeing the Dan Band. They were actually incredible live and, considering all of the physicality of their act, You could hardly tell by the quality of Dan's vocals.

The Dan Band is definitely a "If you've seen one show, you've seen every show" type of band. However, the real reason to stay is Dan himself. His crowd interactions are so hilarious and his energy is unmatched. I hope they come back to Anaheim soon!

Took my wife for a date night she had her doubts thinks it was just a "guy humor "thing and she loved it we had a great night would both go again next time their in town .

Saw The Dan Band last year at the Wilbur and had to see them again. They are still somewhat unknown around NE. They're basically a comedic cover band. So entertaining and so much fun!
