Just as good as when i saw the wish tour! Such a fun night!
Best concert I’ve ever been to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
My lord… what can I say. The Cure, Robert, was simply AMAZING. Great show, effects, the SET LIST for Atlanta night 1 was *chefs kiss* this show was my bucket list and dream come true and nothing will top it. Thank you ROBERT. Also. State Farm arena is 10/10 for ease, staffing and amenities
Don’t understand how people give 1 star. So you don’t know the songs they stilled played them flawlessly. That’s a treat to hear a new song or an obscure song dusted off!! 3 hours of great music great singing and a great time!!! Hopefully they’ll tour again. If not I saw a hell of a show and send off !!! Thank you !!
Amazing concert that really far exceeded my expectations. How Robert Smith kept the ticket and merchandise prices reasonable so everyone could afford to go was extraordinary. The Cure played something for every Cure fan and played a very long set. They sounded magnificent!
First time at this venue for both my husband and I. We couldn't get tickets for Maryland, so we drove up to PA. Parking worked great, leaving was difficult to get onto I95 south though. Long lines for merch before show, but they moved fast. The opening act, The Twilight Sad, were good. The Cure was phenomenal!!! The only complaint about the interior of the venue was the lights completely blocking our view of Robert Smith. Raise those dang things! For what we paid we shouldv've had an unobstructed view!
I have waited my whole life to see the cure in concert, and finally got to with my daughter. His voice was so amazing, it blew me and my daughter out of the water. I love how he played big favorites, But he also played a lot of stuff that you wouldn't hear like Burn from the crow soundtrack. Oh, and the merchandise was super cheap compared to how many other bands
You want the hits, come late and you’ll get them but if you want to deep cuts with Robert’s voice sounding like it did in the 80’s, you are in for a treat! I have never walked away from a show as excited as i did last night!!! If you really love the Cure, you are going to hear the songs you need to hear. Save Lovecats for the festivals! Prayers for Rain was the highlight for me. Do not miss this show!! I would give 15 stars if i could!!
We've been huge fans of the band since the 80's and this was our first time seeing them live. Words cannot do it justice. If your a true fan of the band you should make it a point to see them. Nice mix of older and younger fans all dancing in the aisles. Robert's unique voice ringing out as wonderfully as ever. When "Burn" came up in the set list I got chills! Amazing group of musicians. I hope they continue touring so I can see them again at some point.
The band was tight!!! Set list was incredible. Thank you for 3 incredible hours and keeping tickets affordable!
People who cry about "the hits" not being played soon enough are not really fans of The Cure. You're fans of pop music. Shame the Cure has a few of these songs. These shows are laid out close to perfectly The Cure isn't a "hits" band. They are deeper tracts like A Strange Day, Push, 39, One Hundred Years, Cold, and A Thousand Hours and Disintegration. If you didn't like the set I suspect you listened to too much pop radio in your youth. Too bad because you've missed the brilliance of this band.
For two hours at Pine Knob we listened to deep tracks and pictures of war. Not exactly the music we were hoping for. With the rain and time of day we split. The music set sucked! Include some of your hit tunes in the first set...don't do it all in the end. Yeah we could've stayed, but we were like zombies after two hours of sour. Mix in some of your hit tunes in the first set...keep it lively. And get rid of the war slide show. Geash!
I waited my entire life to see The Cure. The day came and I was not disappointed. Roberts voice was sounded wonderful.

Flew from Dallas to SLC, UT to see The Cure…absolutely best show!! The band was tight and Robert Smith sounds every bit as good as he did in 1978! Just a ridiculously great band and a concert you do not want to miss!! They played for over 2 1/2 hrs and the music was incredible! I felt every emotion. I’ve been a fan for nearly 4 decades and experiencing The Cure live was on my bucket list. Thank you The Cure!!!
for lifelong fans this show is phenomenal, deep cuts, new tracks and some of the better known pop songs sprinkled into 3 hours of pure bliss. Robert, Simon, and the gang are in top form and all the songs that got you through hard times are right there being played to you and only you, or at least that's how you feel. if you "only know like 3 songs" or are expecting 3 hours of Boys Don't Cry and Friday I'm in love please put your tickets back on the exchange. Someone would literally kill for the seats you will inevitably take for granted.
Cleveland show at Blossom Music Center was a hot mess if you were on the lawn. The way they handled the lawn seating during a storm is awful and little crowd control. Told us to go to shelter in cars and come back not long after. If you’re handicapped, forget it. Missed about 4 songs on way back. Overall The Cure is amazing and Robert’s voice sounds just like it did back in the day. Downside is you won’t really get to hear any of the hits until the very end of the 3 hr show. Played about 5 new songs and some lesser known ones until the crowd seemed to wake up at the end when they got what they came for. If you’re a band like The Cure I think you’d wanna mix in your well known songs from the 80s to keep the crowd going. Kinda messy but still love The Cure.
We sat in traffic on I75 and Sashabaw road for 2 hours to get into parking. We missed the opening group and an hour of The Cure. In the 25 years we’ve been going to this venue this has never happened, it was very upsetting. The Cure was awesome, I was annoyed that we came in mid show and missed a good chunk of their hits and knew we couldn’t stay to the very end due to wait time getting in. We saw an hour and 10 minutes of The Cure and couldn’t get merchandise as a souvenir, the lines were too long coming in and items were picked over when we left. Pine Knob parking has ruined this experience for me at seeing The Cure live for the first time. I will not leave my house 2 hours early to wait in traffic for 2 hours when I live 20 mins from the venue, it’s ridiculous.
I don't know what those couple of negative guys are talking about in the reviews; this was by far one of the best concerts I've ever been to! After 2 encores, the audience was still a packed house of thousands upon thousands of people shining thousands upon thousands of cell phone lights. SO worth it! If The Cure adds any extra cities close by, I'll totally buy another ticket and go again! You could immediately tell that the reason The Cure was touring was not for nostalgia, not for a quick buck, not because their manager told them to. It was so obvious that they were here for the love of playing for their fans! Despite operating mainly out of the mainstream, they have had hits in every decade since the 70s, and you could tell by the all-ages audience, all with such love for them. The crowd was all love for the band, and the band was all love for the fans. They played over 2 1/2 hours, 2 encores, with the energy of 20-year-olds. Robert Smith's voice has never sounded better. And I'm almost glad they didn't come to my city and I had to go to Minnesota, because the venue was SO perfect! It was built for the hockey games in St. Paul, but the city obviously built it keeping music concerts in mind because the acoustics were incredible! I could hear every syllable Smith sang! I recorded the intro on my phone and posted it, and when I listened to it on Insta it sounded just as good as a studio recording. I was worried this would be an old-people nostalgia tour, but the music was so powerful and songs so timeless they brought about a powerful set of brand new emotional responses. Their music completely holds up and is just as amazing as the first time I heard it -maybe even moreso! Their new songs they played are also just as awesome, and I'm happy to hear that there's more to come from Bob and the band! ❤️
The cure are as good as ever, Robert doesn't sound a day over 20 and the setlists are absolutely incredible. Chicago was an incredible night and the best concert I've been to! I ummed and ahhed about buying tickets these last few days but finally bit the bullet. If you're in my shoes, don't think twice! Absolute value for money. Robert Smith God bless you!!
