ABBA The Concert on Tour

Considered "the Best ABBA since ABBA," ABBA The Concert by THE VISITORS hit the road for A TRIBUTE TO ABBA tour, playing 29 shows across the United States. Dubbed "The Ultimate Tribute Celebration" to one of the greatest pop performance groups, you'll hear all the ABBA classics including "Mamma Mia," "Dancing Queen," "S.O.S." and more. Though the touring show doesn't have a formal affiliation with the original ABBA group or Mamma Mia! film, audience members fawn over ABBA The Concert for displaying their range, energy and fashionable costume changes, all while sounding just like the real thing. With a robust and rhythmic percussion group, stellar and diverse vocals, the 12-piece band promises to deliver a great performance. The group has toured in more than 25 countries for nearly 30 years including Europe, Asia and the United States. Tickets are selling fast to see ABBA The Concert, so get yours today.

ABBA The Concert Live

In 1996, Martin Håkansson and Christian Fast created the ABBA tribute band called Waterloo in Stockholm, Sweden. Audiences and local journalists immediately came to an agreement: "This is the closest to ABBA you will ever get." Over the course of the next 10 years, Waterloo continued to add full-time members like Tom Bieme, Marcus Olsson, Jonas Lidholm, Charlotte Berg, Matilda Lindell, and more. By 2013 they agreed to go by a new name -- THE VISITORS -- and they hit the road to tour just a few months later. The group has made waves across audiences, doing conference performances for Fortune 500 companies, playing a part in a multi-group performance called The Tribute Show -- which pays homage to pop and rock greats like Elvis Presley, Queen and The Beatles -- and even performing for The Queen of Sweden. Fast forward to today and ABBA The Concert, in association with 21st Century Artist Inc., is a national success, recreating the magic of Mamma Mia! on a nightly basis across the United States.

Everything was good EXCEPT the sound mixing which was absolutely horrible. The volume on the bass drum and bass guitar were so high that it drowned out all the other instruments and singers most of the time.

    A credit to ABBA

by Forrest101010 on 9/11/12Le Claire Park - Davenport

It was an awesome concert -- the band did a great job of capturing the energy and enthusiasm of the original ABBA songs, and really bringing the music to life. Also, the outdoor bandshell by the river was a beautiful setting for it. Worth every dime!

    Abba, the concert

by deeunohombre on 9/10/12Le Claire Park - Davenport

The music, the venue, and the people were just super. It took a few tunes to get the soundboards adjusted to the outside conditions, but who noticed after sitting in our lawn chairs, with our coolers, by the beautiful Mississippi on a beautiful day. The fireworks after the concert were a fitting end to a wonderful day! The concert exceeded our expectations consideering it was at outside venue.

ABBA The Concert was very enjoyable

by Softball56 on 8/13/12nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

Although we endured a 2 hour drive from Quinton, Va. to once again see this group, it was well worth the trip. The group tried their best to re-create the original ABBA members, and music, which is a very tall order indeed. They very bravely played through a severe storm, without any hesitation, although we became concerned for their safety at one point. The ladies voices were spot on, & they had a very nice stage presence. The lead male guitarist, who portrayed Bjorn Ulvaeus, did a superb job , & also was a superb showman. The backup singers were also excellent. It would be great if the group could use a pair of top quality drummers, as the original ABBA group did when they made their Movie, & Austrailian tour. We have also attended several concerts by the group " Arrival " under ABBA The Music, who are also amazing to watch. We look forward to seeing either group when they visit the area again, as it's like a walk down memory lane. Sincerely- Mark & Toni

    ABBA the Concert...See it !

by advance on 8/12/12nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

See it, experience it! Enjoy it! We had seats in the fourth row from the stage. We got a good look at the performers. The girls were pretty and they sang well together. They, the group, were from Sweden and even had one of the ORIGINAL band members on bass. Except for being a bit too loud (sometimes the music out-weighed the singing) the entire show was great.

the music and singing was great! Not the real abba but a road group, the only one there from abba was the base player and he was very good.

by Sasse23434 on 8/12/12nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

If you are a fan of ABBA you will like the show. I enjoyed watching it even when a thunderstorm passed through. We were out at an outdoor pavillion that was somewhat covered but the wind and rain was at times was pretty heavy Some of the rain made it in but the band played on!

    ABBA the Concert is Amazing

by JEKahuna on 6/11/12Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

My wife and I usually do not get out to go to concerts. But when I saw and heard that there was going to be a tribute concert we decided to get tickets. I love ABBA's music and was not disappointed with the concert. If not for being to embarrased, I would have gotten up and danced in the aisles. The Begen PAC was a great place to experience the concert. We had seats up close and there was plenty of seat and legroom. As for the band, they played non-stop for the entire time. We really rocked the night away. I only wish we could have purchased a CD from the concert, or others they have had.

    AWESOME ABBA

by ABBAFAN2 on 9/30/11Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

I was too young to go see the original ABBA so I was extremely excited to be able to see ABBA the concert. I love the music of ABBA so this was just wonderful. They sounded just like the original ABBA without a doubt. It put me back in that era even though I was only a child at that time. The costumes were excellent and the singing was phenomenal. Overal it was a great concert.

I thought I was going to see Abba but instead I saw Abba impersonators. Granted, they were good but I wish I had known up front

    ABBA

by BGdarlin on 9/28/11Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

Great music, liked the original musicians return, Liked audience sing alongs. Could have done more at the finale/call back and was short.. As for the Greensboro venue, I don't like the outdoor ampitheater and parking and access through fairgrounds was not good.

    A FUN great evening!

by DrMcC451 on 9/26/11Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

ABBA the Concert is the closest to the real thing we will ever be able to get! The singers were fantastic, especially the girls who did such a wonderful job keeping in perfect tune with the vocally challenging lyrics and music ! 'Frida' was especially convincing with her mannerisms!!! The original members of the group playing the saxophone and bass rocked the house down! It was 2 hours of pure energy and fun! My only complaint would be that the wigs the men wore were really ridiculous!! Could you please invest in better quality there?! I'm sure Bjorn and Benny would appreciate it!
