The Chicks are one of country music’s most influential and boundary-pushing groups. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1989 by sisters Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) rocketed to pop stardom with the addition of lead vocalist Natalie Maines in 1995. The multi-platinum trio would go on to win 12 Grammy Awards and become the best-selling female band of all time in the U.S., with 33 million albums sold worldwide. By blending honky-tonk with bluegrass and soaring pop vocals, The Chicks appealed to a diverse audience that stretched far beyond their country roots. Signature hits like 1999’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and 1998’s “Wide Open Spaces,” along with their bluegrass virtuosity, saw The Chicks go from opening for Tim McGraw in 1999 to headlining massive concert tours that have sold over $100 million in tickets. 2020’s Gaslighter (produced by Jack Antonoff) was The Chicks’ first album in 14 years, and the catalyst for a 2023 tour where country-pop superstar Maren Morris will join the trio on a string of dates.

The Chicks show was so impressive! Natalie Maines voice sounds better than ever and their chemistry as a trio never faded. I have been to a lot of concerts, but this is in my TOP 5 of all time. I will never forget it and if I had a chance to travel to see them at a destination, I would go in a heartbeat. Even the new songs are kicka$$
The chicks put on an amazing concert. Will definitely be going again if they come. Vancouver loves you Natalie, Martie & Emily! Keep it real!!!
Awesome show, thanks for a great night, Chicks!!!!!
Wasn’t sure how this concert would be since it was in Canada, but it was amazing. The crowd was perfect, loud and excited. I only wish the Chicks would have done a few more songs.
Somewhat disappointed with he overall experience. I don’t think a concert is the right place for a political platform. A night out to escape the real world was ruined. But I loved their old songs and they performed them well and the band did great. The opener wa a pretty boring too and it took a while for the chicks to come on stage.
Wow! What a great show. Loved all the visuals. Did a great job of playing the old with the new songs. Had a great time singing my heart out!!
We were disappointed. We already know their opinions and agree with most of them. Just wanted to escape life and listen to favorite songs. We paid $300 for nothing, it won't happen again.
I enjoyed the music. The Chicks are very talented ladies. The Video displays were controversial and provoking! It takes courage to speak out about Right vs. Wrong in our current U.S.A.
Had fantastic seats and they sounded great, my second time seeing them and would see them again tonight if I could
Classic Dixie Chicks songs were a hit, their newer songs are good but the way they portrayed them seemed very much like a political push. Glad I attended for the older songs but I would not go again.
They didn't play all their hits. It was off somehow. Sound was good.
This goes down as one of the worst concerts I've been to. Way too much new music that no one knew, we all came to hear the old stuff that we know word for word. There was great energy during the classics, but everyone was sitting down during the newer music. And leave the political stuff at home, a concert is no place for it. We thought about leaving in the middle of the show, a lot of the people sitting around us did.
I got second row seats. I thought my seats were two seats away from an aisle. Instead they combined sections B and C into 1 long row that consisted of at least 40 seats. I was in the middle of that. It was hard to move around and the seats were very small. Also they need to find a different way to serve beverages. If it comes in a plastic bottle, leave it in the bottle. There were so many spills, the entire floor turned into a slippery mess. The concert itself was AMAZINGLY! I love the Chics!!
The Chicks were incredible all the way through. They are fabulous musicians and the mix of songs was outstanding. The fellow that opened show was darn great too all around outstanding music performance
Didn’t play all their hits. Their new songs were too many
Older songs great. Many songs and videos far too political. One of few act I will not see again.
I was so excited to take my daughter to the chicks concert. One of the all time best groups back in the late 90's early 2000's. Boy I was I disappointed as they tried to push political agenda's onto the crowd. I get everyone has a freedom of speech and can sing what they want it I prefer it to not be a concert I attend. Also wish they would have played more of their older music! I'm still a fan of the old music and the old Chicks!
Such incredible musicians, awesome visuals, and overall a show of a lifetime!
The worst concert 8’ve attended at Denny Sanford. The sound was horrible! Too many songs I didn’t know but couldn’t make out the words due to poor sound quality. 23 songs but only 5 hits were played. I prefer to listen from home.
