First time seeing this band, being all instrumental, great experience!!
Fricking incredible musicians. But there was almost an hour gap between the opener and the main show. So that sucked. I wouldn’t go again.
I missed their last concert here in Montreal so made sure I was able to see them this time. I took my 12 year old daughter who had a blast. These guys have great stage presence, their music is timeless and fun to listen to. Come back !! L
Budos shows are definitely a fun time. Everyone in the band really brings it and as a result the live show sounds just as good as the records. If you're on the fence about going but love the band, I encourage you to go!
Didn't know what to expect other than what I had heard a few times at home by The Budos Band. From the minute this band hit their first note, to the end of the show, I was blown away by the amount of sound this band puts out, with deep driving rhythms and extraordinary solos. The audience and I danced! All. Night. Long. My new favorite band that I will certainly go see live again when the opportunity arises.
There is no where on Earth I would rather see a show than at the Fillmore. It was also my second time seeing the Budos there and it was perfect. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Always appreciate posters as well.
Excellent. High energy! Instrumental horn driven funk with a bottom of metal.
I've been listening to this band for 15 years and always wanted to see them. I was so impressed by how good they were live. They truly put on a show that you feel in all parts of your body. I would see them again instantly. They're not a band to miss!
Had a competing concert at a large venue across town not been taking place, and had it not been early August when DC is extra-quiet, 9:30 Club would have been packed for the rockin' show. The Budos Band gave it their all, including and encore, to a 95% new-to-them audience. *claps* I hope they can return and be properly welcomed back! They made many new fans!
The Budos Band is one of a kind. Eight different instruments all jamming hard at one time with a rich and complex sound. These guys are a consummate team of musicians - and they kick ass! A lot of fun, especially for those who know The Budos Band and their music. Pretty great show even if one knew nothing about the band. How that they make it back to the East Coast next year!
