    Poor

by naylo89 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Venue layout was way better in the past. Long line to get in. Could have more security checking people in.

    Disappointed

by SMTX on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

We have attended the River City Rockfest every year and this year was a huge disappointment. 1. Parked in the fartherst lot and then had to walk all the way to the 1st lot to stand in line to get in and out. Only ONE entrance to the event and exit was ridiculous for this many people. Last year there were multiple entrances and exits. By the time you walked to the event you were overheated, hot, sweaty, annoyed and not ready to walk around and enjoy the event. 2. Years past, the main stage was not segregated for VIP only and "everyone else" had to stand over 100' away No premium ticket, no entrance. Last year it was open and we stood by a tree and had a great view etc. 3. No restrooms available in the vendor indoor area like last year where at least you could cool off a bit. This year port-a-pottys only - gross! 4. The way food vendors , vendors were laid out, left very little areas to get any shade so basically you just baked.

Not as Organized as Last Year

by TPenn621 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Bought VIP passes for the second year in a row. Last year was flawless. Parking was no problem- we were right by the VIP entrance- walked in- grabbed our credentials and off we went. This year was not nearly as smooth. Parking was more confusing. The signs to lot 6 were actually to lot 7. The girl at the entrance to the lot ripped my entry ticket. After we got to lot 6- that parking attendant told us we had to go back to the other girl and get the bar code or I wouldn't be able to get in. We finally get that straight. Then the VIP entrance was not marked. We walk in and get our tickets scanned, asked for our credentials and were told they were at the entrance across from us. Due to the no reentry policy, we had to wait for security to walk us over and explain the situation so we get our stuff. There were several others behind us that had the same issue. When you pay that much money for tickets, you expect a fairly smooth process. Aside from that, the show itself was FANTASTIC! We had a great time, despite the blistering heat!!

    Great bands, venue sucks

by Metalhead2017 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Lots of great bands! No shade, tiny area with misters. Portapotties with no toilet paper. 45 minute wait for food in 97 degree heat

    RCRiverfest

by ErikaEstrada on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Charging stations were continuously down inside the Clubhouse . Cups of beer kept being downsized. The club house was not air conditioned... it had fans with misters. Food was good. The Rockstar passes were not as close to the stage as I was expecting... I was better off getting GA tickets.

    Much improved from last year!

by Whitdick on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

A much better experience from last year, with all the water fountains and misters availible, it was easier to make it the entire day. Keep up the great set of bands. Maybe newer bands for the headliners, two years in a rows of older hair glam bands is about enough.

first and last time to this event

by cementman on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

First off having to stand in line to get your tickets then to get in is just stupid. Then parking was two miles away, i was there to see concerts not do a marathon. Then concessions $5 for a bottle of water really it was over 100 degrees and $10 for a beer sorry but in my opinion they are getting to gready, if your spending more on something to drink than the event there is a problem. Oh and people where just plain rude and disrespectful, they dont know what a trashcan is.

    Offspring was great!

From botttom to top the greatest rock festival i h

by Torockornot on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Def Leopard with the addition of Vivian Campbel was the best I've ever seen. Godsmacks precision and the perfection of three days grace. But The Pretty Reckless for me was my favorite that Guitarist was phenomenal and she was on a lizzy hale level vocally.

    All bands were good.

by Stefani79 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

The only problem was the heat, which I know no one can control but maybe think about having it a different time of year when it's cooler. And the price of drinks was too high.

    it was ok i guess

by class6 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

for the price I paid for my tickets there should have been more shade, and free water. Also there should have been better access to the stage.

    Great Music! Poor pricing!

by Guero3rd on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Bands were great! Music was great! But with 100+ degree weather it was a CRIME to sell bottled water for $5.00.

    5th Time Going!

by MimaRocks2 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

The price of a GA ticket for this lineup is incredible value. Although you can't control Texas weather, I think having the festival on asphalt in late May is crazy. Definitely more water stations need to be placed in at least 4 areas when the heat index is over 100 degrees. There were more food choices; which was nice. But $10 for beer and $5 for water is pricey. The lineup was very good. I think more time was needed between acts for the main stage and Bail bonds stage. I came home sunburned, blistered feet and bruised but would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Rockfest was AMAZING

by MatthewMiller00 on 5/30/17AT&T Center - San Antonio

Seriously one of the best Rock events I've been to. It was extremely hot out there, but the AT&T crew, Budlight Crew and all other River City Rockfest employees did an outstanding job keeping everyone hydrated, cool, and serviced! My girlfriend and I were given a cooling towel from one of the gentleman working at the bar. He dipped it in an ice bucket so we had a cold towel to wrap around our necks! Seriously the best service while seeing the best bands!
