The Brook & The Bluff is perfectly poised between the past and the present, at an unexpected crossroads where indie rock and folk-rock have found new frontiers and possibilities online. Their new album Bluebeard feels like a modern classic, shaped by the past but very much of and for right now. The first song from the album titled "Long Limbs" is a song about the highs and lows of being in love and the work that goes into a relationship but also a reminder to just be present and let yourself be with someone that makes you happy.
In recent years, The Brook & The Bluff's incandescent harmonies, winning arrangements, and observational acumen have unexpectedly put them upon a different on-ramp for success: streaming stardom. They are now, by far, one of the most successful young bands at folk-rock's amorphous contemporary edge, fusing the craft of the past with the ideas and avenues of the present.
The Brook & The Bluff have already made a name for themselves on the live circuit playing electric sets at Bonnaroo, Hangout, Firefly and Wonderfront. Having previously toured with Mt Joy, Noah Kahan, Rainbow Kitten Surprise amongst others, this fall the band will embark on their most ambitious North American headline tour yet.

My night at Avondale Brewing Company to see The Brook and The Bluff was nothing short of amazing. As a local, it was my first time to this establishment and I was blown away by how great of an experience it was. Walking in, I found this venue to be very spacious with plenty of portable restrooms available…very helpful for one enjoying the beverage options available. Speaking of beverage options, there were plenty of lines to go buy a drink, so no waiting in long lines for something that should be a relatively quick task. Well done Avondale! My only complaint lies in the nature of watching the concert itself. Because it was standing room only, the height differences in the crowd made it difficult for shorter spectators to see the stage. Additionally, leaving your spot in the crowd to go get a drink or use the restroom proved to be very difficult when it came to getting back to your spot in the crowd since people fill in all empty space. If you’re considering attending a show here, I’d either do what you need to do before the performance begins, or make sure you have a nice-sized group that can bring you back in once you return. Other than those things, the concert remains one of the best I’ve ever been to. The Brook and The Bluff did not disappoint! Absolutely incredible performers who love their fans and kept the crowd entertained. Well done fellas!
The Brook & The Bluff are so sweet and charismatic! The light show was beautiful but not blinding like at some shows! The live performance is so much better than the recordings which is so rare! The show was worth every penny!
I’ve seen the brook and the bluff twice before and it was insanely good but now that they dropped new album and played those songs along with the ones they played the last 2 times…it just made it perfect.
I absolutely ADORE The Brook & The Bluff! I fell in love with Misnomer after it was suggested to me on Spotify. A few weeks later I was at Firefly 2022 and decided to catch their set…. Best decision of my life! I ordered First Place on vinyl & saw them open for Mt. Joy last year as well. Will be seeing them again soon no doubt!
Saw B & B open for Mt. Joy and they stole the show. So had to see them as headliners and they didn’t disappoint. Great harmonies and musicianship.
Excellent jams! Stage presence was impeccable. Band members were all in sync and interacted well with crowd multiple times throughout the show. Will see again!
Loved the venue. Brook and the Bluff are so Talented. Crowd energy was spot on especially for a Sunday night ❤️❤️❤️
Everything about the show was blissfully entertaining. I had never heard of the opener but she had an incredible voice and a great band. TB&TB never disappoints and played a great show. All of the musicians are very talented.
This band is great if you’re looking for easy listening, great harmonies & awesome musical talent. Seen them twice so far since finding out about them & will continue! Thanks Walker Theatre in Chattanooga
My first show was a $10 show somewhere in Seattle and my life changed. Every time someone asks me who my favorite band is I say The Brook and the Bluff. Their songs make me smile and seeing them live is such a great experience!
Saw them in Fayetteville and it was such a good time even though and I didn't know a single song. They had such good energy and great music.
Words cannot describe, amazing sound, amazing showmanship
These guys and this music just makes you feel happy!
Saw them in Richmond before the pandemic and it was a hell of a last show before lock down. Can’t wait to see them again in a few weeks!
As much as I want The Brook & The Bluff to make it big, I LOVE their intimate setting!! We could stand right in front of the guys and see everything! The music was absolutely amazing... the instrumental was so good, an experience completely different from their CD album. After the show, the band actually stayed and talked to their fans, asking questions getting to know us and being friendly. This was my second show and I will Definitely see them again
The Brook & the Bluff never fail to put on an amazing show! Joe sounds the exact same live as he does on an album (voice of an angel) and that goes for all of the guys! Very impressed and will definitely be going again. The venue was nice as well.
This band was phenomenal! The venue was outstanding, the performance was remarkable, and the band was really gracious and humble. Overall fantastic night!
these guys never fail to put on a flawless show. amazing live energy and perfect vocals. not to mention the band themselves, they're some of the nicest guys i've ever met. the venue was nice as well, i'd definitely go to another show there!
