Sound needs improvement
by Brewguy on 3/13/24The Asylum at Masonic Temple - ClevelandMy first time at the venue. Didn’t realize it was pretty much standing only, some benches around the perimeter, but no real seating. They should make that clear on their website. Acoustics not the greatest either, nothing to absorb the sound. I think the Broken Hearts would have been better if they had the sound system tuned in properly. Instrumental amps were way too high, couldn’t really make out the vocals. Even when you could hear the vocals, the sound just wasn’t right. I thought the lead singer had a decent “Petty” voice, but again, hard to make it out. Instrumentals were good, just cranked up way too high. I won’t go to this venue again. Maybe better for the younger crowd that doesn’t mind standing.
