    Brian Setzer Orchestra

by Commander47 on 12/9/17Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Brian Setzer and his Orchestra were phenomenal. We saw the Christmas show and it was so good and exciting my wife is still talking about it. BSO played everything!!! Christmas songs, Rockabilly, and even.......yes.......the NUTCRACKER SUITE. There wasn't a dull moment in the show. I cannot say enough about it. You can take the whole family to his show. You may think that sounds odd, but the truth is, if you want to introduce your family to rock n roll, fun and good times.....this is the show for you.

Brian Setzer still in top form

by TG6136 on 12/9/17Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Even after years of Stray Cats and BSO touring, Brian does not disappoint. Been a fan since Stray Cat days. His performance was high energy and his skills as a guitarist are better than ever. Gretsch hit a home run with its pre-show display with a photo opp for fans holding Gretsch guitars and with one of their long term employees to talk shop with. A large number of attendees were people who grew up on rockabilly in the 1950's (like me) so we are right at home with Brian. The program was a "just right" mix of Christmas, big band and rockabilly. As Carl Perkins once said - "If that (rockabilly) doesn't get your toes tapping, you need to check your pulse rate".

    Great Show

by RRKenn on 12/9/17Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Such an unexpected variety of music and all was awesome. High energy from the crowd too! This was our first Setzer concert but won't be our last. Love Symphony Hall and this visit reminded me that we should attend events there more often.

    Too Loud

by Buddy1988 on 12/9/17Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Too Loud. Also, first gig was not good at all. I don't know who they were, but I couldn't understand their words much less their music. They were over the top loud and just noise. I came to see Brian Setzer, not the first group.

Brian Setzer Orchestra was the greatest

by NGAboy on 12/9/17Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

I have watched BSO performances for years on TV at Christmas time. This was my first time attending their concert. The whole performance was amazing. Everyone on stage seemed happy to be a player, happy to be up there, and interactive with crowd. Definitely will attend again when I come to Atlanta next year.

    Great Show

by whydoIhavetouseanickname on 12/8/17Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

A Buddy told me about the show - I wasn't sure - Brian Setzer from the Stray Cats? Well the show was excellent - a big band type of show - lots of horns - lots of great energy - Brian is a true showman. The opening act was "The Church Sisters" which were a little bit country (I;m not a country fan) but these girls were great - I would definitely listen to them again. A really great show that I highly recommend - even if you don;t think its your type of music - give it a try - you won;t be disappointed

    Brian Setzer Entertains

by ddrive on 12/8/17Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

The show was very good with an excellent mix of Holiday and Rockabilly. The memories of Tom Petty and Glen Campbell were also revived with the tribute songs performed during the concert. Nice touch.

Brian Setzer is an amazing performer! He and the band are so full of energy and the music is powerful... an all around rockin' show! Nice tributes to Glen Campbell and Tom Petty. I feel fortunate to have seen Brian and the BSO, seriously.

    Great music...not enough christmas

by dheartmom on 12/8/17Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

The orchestra was over the top good and Brian was great. It was fun to hear his stray cats songs along with a list of others. We were disappointed at the amount of non-Christmas music. We had expected mostly Christmas, but it was mostly other music with very little Christmas thrown in. Over all the show was entertaining and we enjoyed it.

    GREAT

    by Theroc49 on 12/8/17Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

Show was great. Brian Setzer and his entire Orchestra were fanatastic. Show was nonstop and full of energy. Songs for everyone. Big band, Stray Cat rockabilly, Christmas(with a kick). A welcome addition was pianist Kevin McKendree.

Brian Setzer and his orchestra, Great performance.

    by NamedNick1234 on 12/7/17Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Great opening acts. Great performance from Brain Setzer and his orchestra. Our second time at their Christmas Show. Many colorful Gretsch guitars. Most excellent solos. I hope he keeps coming back to the Ryman Auditorium for many more years. Thanks for a great night.

    Seltzer was awesome

by BWMan on 12/6/17Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

While the concert was unforgettable, I found the Church Sisters out of place. Seltzer was fantastic. The Bass Player out of sight - the energy was undeniable.

    Boogie Woogie Christmas

by GtrGrlNC on 12/6/17DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Show was a lively mix of Setzer's rockabilly and swing, consisting of both Christmas tunes and Setzer favorites. It was kitchy fun, with a decorated stage, and a band in leopard print shirts and emerald green lame tuxedo jackets. The big band and vocalists were excellent, and of course, Setzer is a superb guitarist.

    Wonderful show

The show was high energy and tons of fun. The opening act (The Church Sisters) were really great! Their vocals and band were on point.
