I Really Enjoyed It. I couldn't sit down.. Loved It.
Outstanding performance! Joyful, exuberant, up-on-your-feet performance! Highly recommend seeing this group in person.
Very talented group! Kept the audience involved! Would definitely go see them again! Thank you!
The show was much better than I thought it would be. The Blind Boys were very entertaining and funny at times. They sang old school gospel and Christmas Carol's. It was a great show.
Go see the Blind Boys of Alabama!! These "older gentlemen" put on quite a show! Their energy and projection was contagious! Wonderful time~
Firstly, I have to give a shout out to Jimmy’s jazz club in Portsmith, New Hampshire. They did an amazing job transforming the old YMCA into a first class venue. You should be advised though that the main room is the place to be seated if you really want to watch the show in person. The wings have TV screens to watch SC few is obstructed if you’re not facing directly towards the stage. The blind boys of Alabama was excellent. Something different, uplifting,, And exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend.
We absolutely were blown away by these guys. The mix of gospel and Christmas music was just perfect!
If I had known I would have to watch on a tv screen, I would not have bought tickets in Elle’s living room. As a first time guest I did not know views were obstructed. This should be noted when you are buying tickets. I would not sit in this location again for a show.
I am honored that I was able to see Blind Boys of Alabama! They are inspiring, fun and soulful. Highly recommend this show!
Nicki Bluhm was great. I had seen the Bling Boys of Alabama before. I do not need to see them again.
Blind boys are great. Best back up band and my god those boys can sang!
They are part of musical history. They had the audience clapping and feeling their amazing spirit.
This show was amazing it was above my expectations,on top of everything we got to Meet & Greet them & that was awesome!
We all enjoyed the show. It was a wonderful uplifting night.
This was an awesome experience. First time seeing the Blind Boys and although they are much older, they performed with the energy and spirit of much younger performers. Truly great men of God!
The loss of Clarence Thompson was missed but Jimmy Carter makes up for any loss of inertia. We loved the show and the only regret was it ended too soon. They have defined cool before most people every understood what it meant. So happy they performed their Amazing Grace rendition but the new songs were really great and we just loved Jimmy Carter making the sales pitch. The seats at the venue were a little uncomfortable and tight but the process, parking, temp, sound all were excellent. Remember a bit of an older crowd of course so some a little edgy about standing and video shooting with mobile phone. Bitter party of one near us.
A star lineup of New. Orleans musicians and the still-dancing older gentlemen gave the alive--and still-dancing--audience a great evening!
Required to attend a concert for music appreciation. This was my first time to the Orpheum Theater, and I was very impressed with the setup. Although this isn't the music we typically listen to, we did very much enjoy the concert and the music. I would surely attend again if given the chance.
We didn't know what to expect. Had never experienced Gospel Music before. It was so very entertaining, spiritual, & got us out of our seats! A performance that we will always remember.
