Back to the 60's in style!

by Arizonasixties on 2/4/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

A fun, remarkable concert--so replicated the Bee Gees, it was incredible. Sounded exactly like they did in their best years. Enjoyed every minute.

    Saturday Afternoon Fever

by IBMSweathog on 2/4/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

We attended the afternoon matinee of the Bee Gees this past Saturday. It was an excellent concert with the group really channeling the original Bee Gees. The singer who plays Robin Gibb was the closest to replicating the original sound. The Barry Gibb singer was good, but couldn't quite hit the high falsetto notes that Barry Gibb made as his trademark. My only criticism of the show was that the "historical footage" that was being shown on the huge screen behind the band was not actually the original Bee Gees, but rather the current group of young men who were on the stage. I think they should have shown the original footage or not at all.

    Pleasantly surprised

by Shadedstone on 2/4/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Had a great time remembering the tunes and singing all the words. The singing was excellent. This group has an amazing similarity to the real Bee Gees.

Had a very enjoyable evening revisiting the 70s and 80s Bee Gees music. The performers were exceptionally good and really looked the part of their member of the original group.

    Truly enjoyable!

by VKinOV on 2/4/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

The "Bee Gees" were excellent - really had the sound. Music was terrific. Seems to have got louder as the time went on, unnecessarily - same with the flashing lights. Overall a very good performance.

    Get up and dance!

by shortordercook on 2/3/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

My boyfriend and I loved this concert. They sound like the original BeeGees. I'm still humming the music 3 days later. I have a new appreciation for the group and their song writing.

    Bee Gees in Tucson

by Sueper on 2/3/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

Was looking forward to this event, LOVE the Bee Gees and their music history. The event was average. My first time in Centennial Hall, really needs some updating and needs a new sound system desperately. Enjoyed the band and the trip down memory lane.

    Australian Bee Gees was underwhelming

by Cisty on 2/3/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

We went to the show expecting to tap our feet and enjoy the music. The harmony was good but the light show was terrible. And, the group felt like it was telephoning in the concert. Not much effort on their part.

    Australian BeeGees great show

by quiltdebby on 2/1/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

We went to the showing of the Australian BeeGees in Tucson, on Wed. Jan. 29th and had a wonderful time. We loved the songs played and it was great to see the movie clips of them as young boys and then as men. We enjoyed everything about the show. Thanks for a great time.

Australian Bee Gees standing and loving it

    by 70something on 2/1/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

Toe tapping and hand clapping. It was alive and worth the price of admission.

    Australian Bee Gees

    by Ironhawk6 on 2/1/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

Overall not very well done. The show did not build as it progressed from start to finish. The first half was better than 2d half. The first 10 minutes of the 2d half was simply bad. Hard to follow the show as it was not sequenced chronologically. It was chronological at times, but then seemed to jump around. Video behind the performers was distracting. It was simply video of the performers on another occasion. It should have been the brothers Gibb on the video. The tunes were recognizable, but not as good as should have been. As for the cost which was just over $100 for two, it was WAY overpriced for the quality of the performance.

Good but could have been better

by SixtiesBloke on 1/31/14Centennial Hall - Tucson

We attended what was opening night for the concert and with the benefit of hindsight wish we had gone on one of the following nights. The first half of the concert contains more of the Bee Gees sixties and early seventies songs - the ones which are our favorites and unfortunately much of the backing music, especially the bass, tended to overwhelm and drown out what would have been superb vocals. After the intermission Matt Baldoni (Barry) announced that the backing music would not be as loud. He was right and the second half and encore performances were terrific.
