This is the best band in the world. If you don't give them a chance, what are you even doing with your life? There's no show with so much love and community. Be there, or regret not being.
The Armed are an excellent band and great live performers. The reason this review is 1 star is largely due to the opening act. From my listening, The Armed have changed their sound throughout their discography and the music that they are releasing in recent years does not align with the music they have released in their early years. The opening act's music style has little to no correlation with the musical style of The Armed in my own opinion. There is nothing wrong with the way the opening act performed, but their musical style does not align with the recent musical style of The Armed which has drew me to see the show. I would suggest that The Armed selects a musical act that is in-line with the musical their current musical style to open their show. In my own opinion, this would improve the entire show and concert experience.
I love these guys, saw them open for QOTSA last August in Pittsburgh, knew I had to see them again. Incredible the amount of passion and energy, it's palpable even for a maybe milder crowd than they're used to lol. Will definitely see them again and again.
The Band is excellent, no doubt you're going to have a fun time watching them and playing with them. Especially when they pass you the mic or mosh with you in the pit. If you haven't seen "The Armed"go to their shows. You won't regret it.
Best band in the world right now. Show was intense, crowd was awesome, band was involved and put on a dynamite show. Revolving doors can be dangerous, but these cats know what’s up.

Saw them as the opener for a QOTSA concert. They were indeed entertaining to watch, but not my cup of tea.
When I heard that The Armed was coming to the West Coast for their Ultrapop tour, I booked a flight from Portland, Oregon just to see them. THE SHOW itself was absolutely insane. The music was incredible, the folks on stage displayed such thoughtful, entertaining, and visceral showmanship, and I walked away feeling both electrified and bulldozed by the lightning rod energy of a thousand suns. THE EXPERIENCE: The Armed has one of the most inclusive fan bases in music. I made friends and shared friendly conversation with no less than 20 people, met a few members of the band, and walked away feeling like I had experienced something deeply personal and emotionally rousing -- something we're all needing after the past two years. You don't need to be a fan of a particular kind of music to enjoy The Armed's live show. If you find yourself enthralled by highest-caliber performance art, make this band a bucket-list show.
